Thanks for all the great racing memories, Cole! (And I can't believe I just recently learned his nickname is "Cool." It fits!) He had a great career.

Don't be so sure that he won't see this...

Dude was/is a lot of fun to watch ride. His BMX style is just so smooth. Hopefully he's able to put in a good showing at Straight Rhythm this year.

I bet he does.

It was fun seeing his progression from hitting ramps at Wyvern with Lance Coury and riding SX with him to see him dedicate himself to being a professional racer and landing himself on Factory Honda and winning races. I wish him well in his future!

Dude won at the highest level, and came back from a knarly injury to prove to himself what we already knew...he's an MX stud. Good luck to him...he's gonna be missed at the track.

Well yeah. I love Ken, but his best days are behind him. Another year with Ken at the helm and then AC for 2021. Kind of like Webb/Musquin deal. Musquin is the vet on the team and Webb is the new contender. I see AC and Ken having a similar roll.
Ken is only 3 years older than AC and is still showing speed to be top 3 in the most stacked class in recent memory. He still has plenty of time and has been getting closer to where he was in his prime every year since his injuries.

You want to phone a friend and get back to us ?
I believe that “IF” he didn’t win the title, he was going to stay down another year, but he should hopefully be able to wrap this championship up here soon. 450 Kawasaki next year is where I’d put my money, if I were you ! Wink

At 29 injuries take their toll on your mind when you get in your 50s they take a toll on your daily life. Hate to see him go but glad he is doing it while on 2 feet.

Pretty awesome to see all the positive posts !
Having known Cole since he was 5 years old, I’ve watched him grow up on a dirt bike. He’s always been a fast racer, from pee wees thru the A class, and onto being a Factory Honda rider. He’s got great style, he rides clean and doesn’t have any enemies on the track. I do believe that if Cole wanted to continue to race, he could’ve found a ride. But the hard part of racing at the Factory level and collecting a Factory check, is trying to step down to privateer bikes and the little money that comes with those rides.
Cole will be successful in life, he’s got several paths he can go down. It had to be a tough decision, but I’m happy for him and hope he can figure out which road he will enjoy the most !

Congratulations to Cole on an awesome career! He's a really good dude and an unbelievable talent, no matter how many wheels he's on. It was so cool watching him rise through the ranks, succeed at the highest level, and ride for the gnarliest team in motocross. I was at Dodger Stadium in 2011 when he got his first win and it was just awesome to see. Even just hearing his name and "From Newbury Park, California.." during opening ceremonies was so rad. You did us all proud, Cole! I'm really stoked for you and excited for what comes next!

I can't remember what year it was, 2015 or 2016, he started riding really well outdoors and said he wanted to shake the concept of him not being an outdoors guy. I think he got a 2nd or two in some motos before mangling his pinky. He was definitely deserving of taking over the #14 after Windham. So, so smooth. Half the reason I ended up buying a set of TLD gear. Congrats on a career Cole!

So is he still going to ride Straight Rhythm on that CR250 he's building?

I remember that. It was like watching Happy Gilmore learn how to putt....the final pieces of the puzzle started falling into place.

Correct. Ac is signed & contracted to ME Kawi alongside Eli next year already. It has supposedly been done since before the outdoors even started
Wrong!

Amazing skilled rider, nice guy, beautiful to watch but too much tender for the high level. It was really heartbreaking to see him lost most of all his duels.

He has never mentally totally recovered from anderson's spanks.
