I go every year. That area draws in the most inbred redneck cousin fuckers in the northeast. Most of the are quad riders too.

Mrs. Stewart must be one tough lady to have had to put up with all the shit over the years all the while walking straight into the lions den to defend her sons and try to educate these ignoramus’

The fact that he is giving the finger back to some Masshole! Everybody knows that NE has the WORST fans. Secondly, the fact that he has the awareness to even look up and see one of these dummies hanging over the fence. I for one get tunnel vision when I ride!

I know it’s Democratic debate season but come on vital. Stop being so offended!

Is there any time flipping off someone is acceptable? During the Stanley cup games fans on both sides were doing that, seems to be the norm now.

Lol. I don't get the hate towards the French in this country. They supported the American Revolution for independence from the Brits. Do they want us to be British again??

Ferrandis seems cool as F to me.... Sad that some redneck types pride themselves on hating others simply because of their place of birth.........................................

I was standing a bit more to the right just outside the pic.. the whole group was drunk, loud, and irritating, but it was mainly that one guy really going after James Stewart. I gave them dirty looks and wanted to punch the guy in the face but decided it was not wise with 1 of me and my 8 year old son vs. whole bunch of drunk guys. He didn't really respond to Stewart's mom yelling at him. If a physical fight broke out with the mom, I would have joined in, though. Finally a cop arrived to escort him off the premises but it took a long time as that part of the track was not easily accessible. I always wondered how his mother heard about what was going on and found them so quickly in this remote part of the track as I think she came over toward the end or right at the end of the race. I don't remember that girl there doing the same thing.. I was so focused on that big guy hanging on the fence and yelling at the top of his lungs. Ugliness of the human soul in its full grandeur for sure! To direct that much energy and hate towards someone/ some people you have never met and know absolutely nothing about is not only irrational, it shows how much ignorance and lack of intelligence is required to expend that much negative energy to maintain that irrationality.

The point is: bad fans are everywhere
My parents taught me that two horses asses don't make a horse. Point being - don't be "that' guy. Sure there are bad fans everywhere but that doesn't mean it should be accepted. If I see someone doing that in a race, I breaking their motherfucking finger off sticking it up their own ass.

A part of the reason why Jean Michel Bayle retired was because of the way he was treated by not just the fans, but his teammates as well. I can remember an interview with The MXKied, and he purposely pronounced his name incorrectly, saying it like Gene Michael Bayle.

What about the father and young child? Is he part of that group? Impressed he had the smarts to put headphones on the child due to the sound of the bikes, but if he is part of that group then headphones are the least of it. I'd have moved elsewhere.

Has anyone in here ever been to any other sporting event? How about a pro football game? Have you seen/heard what the fans yell at opposing teams? Go sit court-side at a basketball game and listen to what gets said. Or even worse, go to a hockey game and literally sit anywhere...

Get off your high horse about being embarrassed to be a moto fan because a few people flipped off a rider. In case you forgot, motocross is a rough, dirty, slightly red neck sport. Don't get me wrong, I love the shit out of dirt bikes. But, you guys acting like this shouldn't happen in "our" sport need to learn how to have a little fun...

What a brilliant rationale. Because many people are awful, it's therefore fine to be awful. And if acting like it shouldn't happen is the wrong thing, then apparently everyone should be doing it because flipping people off is the right thing and being a douche is now synonymous with having fun. Yes, I'm sure those ideas will create a wonderful place for people to live.

And hey, the 90's called. They want their tribal tattoos and media companies based on areas codes with the numbers spelled out back. Just having a little fun after all.

100% AGREE. At the 2018 High Point AMA Pro National, David Vuillemin and Dylan Ferrandis were walking the track near me when the National Anthem started to play during opening ceremonies. They BOTH stopped, removed their hats and stood in attention at the flag of our great Country. I have been a fan ever since !!!!!

You're right, we should all sit in the stands quietly with our warm tea and give equal cheer to each rider because they're all trying super hard out there... It's the way ALL sports fans are. Some good - some bad.

My point was people actually stating that they are embarrassed to be moto fans because of taunting fans need to understand what sport they are talking about. To be clear, I think those white trash hillbillies are just as big of douchebags as you do but, it's ridiculous to think motocross is a "high class" sport and above fans dishing out the bird.

Sorry my vital name is from 2011(ish) But glad you knew I owned a media company. It's not my profile name by the way...
