I remember practicing at Budel back in 2001 or 2002 (I think). He was there, going around the track (which was insanely rutted and whooped out) as if it was flat. When he was out on the track everyone else just stopped riding and looked at him in awe instead, it was both amazing and humbling. He was for sure one of the best sand-riders in the world back then.

I said he added a shit ton of spice for a short while. He also has a certain following to this day, so I just threw it out there and people can decide for themselves. Clearly you don't think J-Law was cool, which is fine. 487 silly emojis was overkill. A thumbs down would've sufficed.

Coolest Pro Rider I ever met was Wardy. Spoke with him in his prime when he was in a tough fight for the 1990 250 outdoor Championship and he was cool as can be, willing to have a long conversation without any Ego involved. Then about 5 years ago he walked by me at Unadilla and I said to my girl "That's Jeff Ward". He turned around, walked back to us, shook our hands, and again was willing to hang out and have a conversation with us. So to me, there is no one cooler than Jeff Ward.

I have never seen anyone be as nice to fans as Travis. He'll stand there for a whole weekend with shot knees giving everyone the time of day. He's the nicest badass I've ever met. Cool in my book.
