How has The Dogger not been added to this list? Dogger Bradshaw MC Roczen Stanton Wardy Larocco RJ Was in a coolest rider class by himself. So for everyone who’s not the The “mad dog.”The Dogger gets the nod for the coolest because the dude could party all night. Not even sleep except a nap between the heat and main and could still win/podium. Dude did t care too much about his career but still had swagger and results just imagine how many titles the Dogger would have gotten if he actually half ass trained Stanton was so cool because he was so quiet and an absolute beast on the track. Mike Larocco got most of his podiums and wins comming from dead last

Ok this threads been going for a while and most of the obvious choices have been put forward, but I'm gonna throw one from left field; Chad Reed....now before you down vote, hear me out.
Despite his perceived arroganceand egotistical ways, just think about this;
came from a poor hard working family in nowhereville Australia, left home as a teenager to take on the world, got second in the world title in his first and only go, moved to the states, cleaned up in 250sx (the one and only time he ever rode lites as a pro), moved straight to the open class against peak RC and won 6 races straight and nearly toppled him for the title as a rookie. Beat RC, JS, RV & RD straight up in there prime, started his own team and did what everyone thought was impossible; regularly beat the factories as an owner/ rider, and has kept on riding competitively longer than anyone ever just because he loves racing. There is not one other rider whose career has a similar story line.
Add to that his drinking beer at the track with the fans while at the top of his game probably more than any other rider in the modern era and I say that's cool.

While at the MXdN after show Monster party in Riga, Latvia, we ended queuing for a piss with Reed. When he went in to the toilet my mate shouts "come on Reedy do a speedy peedy, lads are busting for slash out here".

Needless to say he came out pissed up laughing and joking with us all, top bloke.
