AC Outdoors...

He will holeshot a bunch of races, unfortunately he won’t quite make it around the first turn on a couple of them. He will get up and fight to move up through the pack though. AC has had a growth spurt from the time he turned pro til now. I think he is finally getting comfortable with his size and leverage. AC And Deano are fun to watch and cheer for.

Frenchie is the fastest of the 250 guys (IMO). If he stays off the ground, he'll win the outdoors too.

AC needs to work on his focus.

I like AC, but I think he'll be mentally defeated. He'll have a tough time cracking the top 5 for the first few rounds. After that he'll be a top 5 guy until mid-season. Then he'll get somewhat competitive but it'll be too late for a championship run. He might get a couple of overalls in the last 1/3 of the season and a few moto wins here and there before that.

Happy for him to prove otherwise.

Eh??? All these mental problems!!! Why because of a brain fart, I think he’ll be fine due to season not being ended with a crash so he’s on a winner compared to previous seasons.

I think he’ll be in top 3 somewhere but expect 250’s to be a great battle

During Supercross i already felt like ferrandis had more speed, just started poorly except for 2 races.
I'm with those guys in this thread:
1 Ferrandis
2 Cooper/Lawrence
3 Ac
X2. Prado would MURDER him

People say AC cracked, couldn't take the pressure or had a mental lapse. I say he simply made a mistake. But he learned. He's going to be this years national 250 champion. Sx is over. Nationals are his.

I don't even think he made a 'mistake' so much. He hit a hole that he really didn't expect and was too close to the edge of the track. But these guys always ride on the edge in SX.

It was just one of those things that happen sometimes. Too bad for AC it happened at a very bad time and bent his bike all up.

He will challenge for the title/wins but won't win it in the end. Watch Sexton to surprise.

Now this is an extremely hot take, but I have to say, I think I disagree with everything you’ve said. Grinning

You really think so? The dude that was minutes away from winning the 250 West SX title is going to struggle getting 5th place or better?! Come on now.

He’s just not championship material. He cracks under pressure, every damn time. He’s a nice kid, funny, gotta love the guy, but he’s not a champion, despite the work ethic, he’ll never live up to the greats. Pinch

He will have his hands full. Justin Cooper is hungry... I personally see Ferrandis winning it. Adam I say 3-5 overall.

So...how do you think Adam Cianciarulo will do in the upcoming Outdoor 250 season? Will he let the crushing loss of the SX title get to him to the point where his performance is way less than what he's capable of? Or, will he rally...put all that behind him, and show all the fans who love him & Mitch Payton that has invested largely in him for so long what he's made of?

Personally...and I'm a big AC fan, but I don't see domination. I do see him being a real threat for the title just because I think Adam has grown emotionally as well as physically in the last couple of years. I won't predict the ultimate outcome...but at the very least, I expect him to be on the box more often than not.

Travis Preston was 6’2, 200lbs on a 125 and won a championship! Adam is perfectly fine...

Agree to disagree. He's even said he cant wait for the 450 so he can stop starving himself. Hes stay as light as he can....because he knows its a disadvantage...

He may be the fastest, but sadly he won't win the title... Dude has mental block, not easy getting over that hurdle... Then there is the PC curse...

I can agree with you that he has a disadvantage but I believe he also uses it as an advantage. With the little extra weight comes a bit more traction, leverage and distribution. At least that’s what I always told myself Haha

Let’s not get to carried away with size. He won almost all the races in sx. Him losing the title has nothing to do with size. He is very capable of winning at his size. He just needs to keep him composer and not hit the dirt. How can he be to big and win all those races please explain? He ain’t near Malcolm’s size and he got a 250 title.

So, winning 5 out of 10 races is "almost all the races in SX"? Bruh

He won more than any one any one else. He had the red plate the last night and lost. Size isn’t the problem. Maybe I got a little away with the word almost and “all”. The remainder of the races won weren’t by another rider it was mixed. Either way he’s capable in a 250. He is the crowd favorite and size is the only answer everyone seems to come up with.

His size is way more a factor outdoors then it is indoors where you barely hold the throttle on for more than a second at a time indoors. Outdoors with deep tilled up tracks, uphills, etc way more a factor.

Also i get what you're saying about ac killing it this year. But ferrandis won 4 races. Ac won 5. Not exactly a blowout even by wins.
