He’s already signed a deal for next year. Doesn’t want to push for no reason in a championship he doesn’t have a chance to win anymore unless it goes crazy for #2. He’s just fulfilling sponsorship obligations and waiting to try and win a 3rd outdoor title. IMO he’s on a Honda for 2020. Cianciarulo slides up and Savatgy stays at Kawi til Forkner is ready. All Speculation.
Yep. He doesn’t give two Fs. All about outdoors and championships at this point. Once you’re a multi-millionaire, your priorities change.

Well when you already made enough money to retire why risk life and limb at this point riding on the edge.

Big Eli fan here! All is not well in Eli’ville. Maybe someone in media could interview him and get some insight?

I dont think we would get the truth even if we did get an interview.

Tomac got worked by Bogle and ZachO.... Bogle worked Tomac, things aren’t good in the Tomac camp for that to be happening. Tomac is my guy but I’m thinking he’s thrown in the towel or is injured. It’s not the bike, it’s him.

He seemed off in that interview just now. He sounded rattled.. I hope he can figure out whatever's going on.

Keep saying it, it's like 2016 all over, we just have two years since on the old bike where he was superman. I bet he's still not quite clicking with the new bike and they'll do some more testing and get it done and he'll be back to himself. He'll still have those brain-farts, that's what he's done since 250s, but he hasn't had the consistency of speed from the last couple years...

What happened 2016 outdoors? Kenny won 21 Motos against him. What happened in 17 and 18? Back to back titles. Even SX...17 races won in the last 2 years. This year? We’ve seen the fast tomac 3 times. I’m telling you he isn’t comfy on that bike. We’ve seen this before

We'll probably have to wait 5 or 6 more year's when Eli is invited back to the Whiskey Throttle Show to find out the truth.

IF he didnt go into bitch mode 8- 10 minutes into every race, and went into "beast mode" instead, he might be in contention for the title..... but looks like its going to be bitch mode for the rest of the season boys....

probably a good thing herlings wont be here for AMA because the eli tomac from last year is missing, and probably wont be found any time soon.
The Tomac who got passed and quit at MXoN? That Eli? I think we're seeing plenty of that Eli this season.

he has a good bike and a good team that he has done well with. whats going is is he is a headcase.

I think he's lived in a bubble too long and his program that "has worked" isnt.

Ask that to Hannah, Stanton, Ward, RJ, McGrath, RC, Stewart, RV2, Dungey, Reed...

Hannah, Stanton, Ward, RJ, Mcgrath all rode for a lifetime to make what Eli does in a season. Tough to compare hunger as the factor there.

RC was a born-champion. Stewart, a killer. Reed an enormous egotist.

Eli is not necessarily any of those things, and I don't see an emotional fire similar to any names mentioned.

Eli is an amazingly talented dirtbike rider, and possibly the fittest athlete in the sport. That does not, by default, make him a champion.

Needs to be on a ktm. Tomac and Webb would be an excellent team for Red bull.

Man I'm not sure about probably three straight, no doubt he has a good chance but I agree with you that they haven't quite figured out that bike yet and I personally don't think they will have it figured out for outdoors, either. And with the way Webb and Musquin are riding right now I think it'll be tough if he doesn't have the bike dialled. It's going to be a good outdoor season in my opinion.

It irks me to hear people say how much better he’d be on a Honda, because he was so good on a Honda in the past. It’s not the same bike at all anymore. He was riding great on the old Kawi. The new Kawi is not the same bike either and look how that’s going

He looked pretty upset in the interview tonight, I hope he gets back to where he needs to be. I like Eli

I dunno man, he looked good at Daytona and I don’t think setup is as crucial as it is indoors for him. People also forget all the Kawi DNFs he’s had, and some shitty pants to boot. Those put him under pressure he didn’t need really speed wise no one was close outdoors the last couple years.

Lol isn’t the new Kawi “much better” than the old one too tho? I have wondered if that hydraulic clutch has affected Eli’s starts this season
