I don't know if this has been brought up because I can't handle reading through 22 pages of this but I've been wondering if Ricky is going to try pull off a crazy fast lap to try to show up Kenny today. All I know is this seems like a bad situation for everyone involved.

Carey was at the race today too. Maybe it's me but they seemed to be in full-on damage control mode. I'm prob. reading too much into it perhaps. But even Carmichael was out there on the sidelines getting after Broc and Kenny in the 2nd 450 moto.

Ken had a much thicker accent in his early years, he's sounding more and more American every week. Give it five years and he'll have as strong an accent as Reed.

Man when I see this picture I feel so sorry for him and his team (well ok they are all lucky & financial great so no drama)

He must have said "sorry my dad was butt hurt and had a brain fart after a couple beers ... " He seems to be such an easy going guy that I hope it is allright now, the s... storm is going away. Now there is a bit more pressure for next year but we all know that some pressure is often necessary to perform well.

yes,,,, I think so too,,,,, I am very sure that Ricky and his team were awaken by the honest comments coming from KR's dad.

The Euros tend to tell it the way it is... and when the dust settles, the honest comments that came from Germany will leave their impact on the team and when KR tells the team that his fork is not working just like he wants it a few weeks before the first SX race, I think we can expect some action.

It may mean nothing...but I was around the RCH pits at the three SX events I was able to attend last year, and I never saw RC or Carey Hart at all. I think this situation with KR's dad expressing his viewpoint...even with whatever bias is there toward his son, has put the team in super damage control mode, with all hands on deck. I know RC was there for the Legends race...but if Hart was there too, it was important. They have to put on a smiley face for their sponsors, since I'm pretty sure they (sponsors) have had a chance to read the comments that have been posted. No matter how good Carey is at pulling in sponsors, he'll have a rough time keeping them if things are anywhere near jacked up as Hen's dad says. Just my opinion.

I ran into this thread and after reading some of your replies I was honestly shocked at how easily some people can be duped. I watched the MX NATION docs and something became immediately clear, Ken Roczen is arrogant and full of himself and sabotaged himself. He got rid of Aldon, and DeCoster and went to RCH's party team. Carey Hart said in the vids he wanted Roczen to have fun. He blatently talked about "go go girls and party"atmosphere of that team. Roczen complained of Aldin Baker's training schedule. He also complained about the KTM set up. Now think about that for one second: Suzuki has spent nary a dime on their bikes, their forks are rock hard and untunable and that is straight frim MXA. KTM has spent a ton of money on R & D on their bikes making sure their riders and their consumers are happy making even mid year changes to their 450. Then TSo Roczen leaves the premier team, bike, trainer, and team manager and then wants to once again blame every thing else but his arrogant,stupid decision . Then his dad has the nerve to make the comments he made! Whose team is it? If Hart and Carmichael want to run THEIR.team this way what business is his? Go to your boss and make these comnents and see what happens to you. He knew he left a professional program for a party program and he got exactly what was coming to him. Dungey and Musquin are taking advantage of the awesome resources that Decoste has provided and the results show.
I hope KTM, DeCoster , Dungey ,Musquin and Baker read this. Props to all of them. I think the world of them and wish them my absolute best. KTM does nothing but spend R&D money on their bikes, DeCoster is the man in MX, and his riders are professional and statesmen for MX. Let's be fair jamma. Lots of people thought RC sabotaged himself when he went to Suzuki. The same of Dungey when he signed with KTM. I was about as big a fan of KR as could be until,,, he bad mouthed KTM after he won the title on one. To me, that was the same as saying, 'Look, I won the title on a bike I'm not happy with. Wait 'till you see me on one I like.' Maybe JZ and I are just reading too much into it? Goggles on. Roll offs loaded. Bring it!

dungey ,short ,DM18 ,etc etc etc all bad mouthed that old 14 ktm bike .so whats your point . new bike is very different . people seem to forget k roc only barely beat Dungey in the outdoors , he was second this year .he was nt happy with his year ,and forks . but its not like he was a million miles away from dungey ,with two injurys ,he won the last two races . he seem to be happy now with KYB , so we will see next yr . but if he does beat dungey ,it s going to be very close .and anyone who thinks he is on a disadvantage with the bike is stupid. have you every heard any other pro rider say anything but great things about the Suzuki. but i have heard tons and tons and tons about air forks . remember carnard changed to kyb what happend . lets see what happens with kenny .

imo , dungey was greatly held back by that old KTM , and would of won againt s RV a hell of alot more if he stayed on Suzuki.

you mean the production forks .because yea that s what KROC runs . does nt even revalve them lol .or run A KIT , or better yet is nt he on a factory team why not run factory ones . nope runs the "untunable" standard lol . the 2015 Suzuki has a ton of changed from 2014 ,eg the frame . you just look at the plastics .

Sunny to read this almost 4 years later and Kenny is about to get fired from another team because of his father. If there is one company you dont talk bad about or to them is HRC Honda. Heiko is ruining his sons career. He smoked everyone by far on the RCH Bike in the outdoors then was forced to switch to Honda because of his Father now HRC Honda is looking to get rid of Ken because of the same thing. Is the 2019 HRC Honda crap to? Does their stock bike have better suspension also. It seems like Heiko has plans of his own and if he wants his son on KTM then he shouldnt have had him leave in the first place they will never take him back especially since both their riders are beating Ken every weekend and Webb has broken him mentally! If Honda doesnt sign him again I doubt Ken will get any Factory offers maybe JGR but not at the price Ken thinks he deserves. He is now going to be the 2nd guy on a team. He cant even go back to the GP's because Herlings will smoke him now event though Kenny used to smoke Herlings. Kenny needs to do the smart thing and send his father back to Germany and tell him he wants nothing to do with him with his Racing Career which I would guess is very hard since kids depend so much on their parents until they make it to the big time. If i remember right after his dad bitched out RCH didn’T his bike and results improve drastically?

His dad wasn’t the reason RCH and Kenny parted ways, if you want to believe some industry chitter chatted, Ken had signed his HRC contract before at the beginning of his second year with RCH. Ken isn’t about to “get fired from HRC” because of his dad...

Didn't the Heiko article come out at the end of 2015 Outdoors when Ken was being beat by Dungey, and Ken still had another year of his contract. HRC deal came into play in the beginning of 2016 and then he dominated the 2016 outdoors on RCH.

Thanks for sharing and translating. I love to know what’s going on deep in the sport we fans rarely get to hear or see. Sounded like a disaster. Doesn’t make Ricky look good either.
