JZ125 Added a reply to Fork Oil Change

Are you removing the forks for a spring change? If you do, yes just tip them. I usually take the fork caps off, use tie downs to pull the bottom of the forks all the way up, remove the springs and set the level. Turkey baster works great for drawing fluid out. You have to do this anyway to set...

I want to X2 this one. As I understand it the SSS is a viable fork for anything up to a very high skill level with just clickers. Is there any reason after riding this bike and spending time on it you feel it needs this? MXA usually will post their fork and shock set up recommendations. I use their's...

I would just take the expansion chamber off and peer inside. Look for a lot of wear on the skirt and make sure the rings are not too loose but moving. That will be a lot easier and will let you know if you should remove the head to further investigate.

The emulsion tube is often neglected and if it is worn (it usually is) it will allow the high needle to vibrate back and forth drawing extra fuel and cause a sputtering that will start in the pilot circuit making you think it is a rich pilot circuit. At times it will leave a witness mark on the high speed...

It does look good for Anderson being with Baker Barcia has momentum Tomac has Payton; Payton has Tomac Roczen has springs instead of air so he can now find something else to blame But in the end DUNGEY MUST BE BEAT

I can't see the down side. If you are serious you may want to park the 250F and ride the 125 until your lap times are comparable. 2 strokes turn way different and you will be very busy keeping your momentum. Then jump back on the 4 stroke and after some re-acquaintance I bet you will be faster. Of course...

I ran into this thread and after reading some of your replies I was honestly shocked at how easily some people can be duped. I watched the MX NATION docs and something became immediately clear, Ken Roczen is arrogant and full of himself and sabotaged himself. He got rid of Aldon, and DeCoster and went to RCH's party team. Carey...

Kinda surprised this was asked. I purchased my 04 purposely for the steel frame and 48mm Kayaba combo for $1000. I built it how I wanted it, did the work myself so I can trust it, and saved a butt load of dough in the process. I am going to be super frank, I really think people purchase over their...

I watch Youtube video's. I watched one on Marvin Musquin riding an SX150 called RAW and I listened to when he applied power. I am really focusing on cornering. I too have been off bikes for a while. I tried railing a rut while applying power and blew through the rut. I slammed pretty hard and thought I was hospital...

XXXX22222 My first thought on the valves as well. You can put whatever you want on top of an air pump, there is still an air pump there. Do these bikes use a MAP sensor for fuel mapping or MAF?

I thought it was just me because I ride a street bike everyday for the most part; in other words I have a habit of forming a habit in how I ride then I jump from one bike to the other and almost crash trying to ride it the same way. Make sense? On my Zook it snicks through the...
