Monster Energy Supercross 2

3/5/2019 8:58pm
Hello everybody! I would like to introduce everyone to the MESX2 Racing League (PS4) I am aware there are many of these things circulating in the Supercross video game community, however we are trying to do something a little out of the ordinary. I have some people who are credible track builders and we're trying to build a player base to host as close to real life supercross championship experience! Our track builders are going to be building 2019 replica tracks and running them every weekend. We are still new and still "preliminary" but every member will be treated as a moderator as far as suggestions for improving the league. This is a championship series open for everyone and ran by the people. If an issue arises and draws attention from the moderators, we will have a vote for the topic at hand (i.e race length, filler AI, etc.) for the time being it will be 450 only until our rider base is bigger, then 250s will be incorporated. Once the 2019 replica series is finished, we can either run more custom tracks or local or a little of both. Like I said the beauty of this league is that every factor that can be changed in the race options can and will be voted upon if enough members feel said factor should change. Race options as of right now are as follows Race Length: 10 min Online Tracks: on Collisions: on All other rules are standard to the game except for the AI. There will be no AI in the championship unless voted upon. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post and we hope to see you out for the first race! Race date will be uploaded as soon as our player base gets to desirable size DISCORD LINK UNDER THE PARAGRAPH

Just found out qualifying times are 100% auto populated. To test it, I rode around with Cianciarulo and stayed right next to him the entire time. He qualified 1st and myself 36th. He was 6 seconds faster for his fastest time.

Along with qualifying, it’s so frustrating that I can never get a clean lap in.

Anyone else having trouble with staying close to the inside of the tough blocks? It’ll read as if you’re off the track sometimes and reset you. I remember Reflex was awful about this too and it is very frustrating when it happens.

I cant enjoy this game, i was so hyped but ive tried and tried and the controls of the bike and the cornering is so jankey. The scrubs are just weird and messes me up for the next corner every time. The cornering has no flow at all and is ready to spin out at any point. And the Jumping overall seems to have a kind of sling shot effect where the bike seems to lose a lot of speed in the air.

I hate that messing up in the rhythm sections means you must literally roll every single jump to the end because it doesnt have the pickup and ability to sort of seat bounce and get back in rhythm like you could in the first one.

I wish I could just get all these tracks for the first one. Very disappointed buyer
what you and greenmx5 above you are basically saying is that you are no good at the game.
It's funny, whenever I play a game and can't get the hang of it, I realize that I need to work at it more and get better. Some people just blame the game.
It's not the game - it's you.

Im new to internet gaming so take it easy on me. Last night I raced online for the first time, and there are people talking, coughing and saying dumb stuff. How do I turn them off without turning the tv down?

You should be able to mute individual players, but I'm not sure about muting everyone. I haven't played online, but in most games you can just select the players name and it will give you the option to mute them.

Easiest way is to plug in a mic. Starting an Xbox live party works on some games but not all. You could mute all Xbox live players in console setting, somehow. Google the exact question you have and add Xbox to the end of it, you’ll find a step by step guide on muting Xbox live players

Same for me.

I only play these games in 1st person.

Imagine sensors on a rider and the bike to model perfectly the riding as 2k does for Basketball.

Imagine a career mode where you get your first bike under the Christmas tree and where you should start with a 60cc.

Imagine create your team, team manager, sponsors, custom graphics, trucks ect.

Imagine a fitness mode to develop your rider.

Imagine a legend mode.

Imagine a Vital MX championship with all of these upgrade . That would be crazy.

That would be the only way we would get that much depth into the game you are imaging.
Dude you do know that those numbers add up to over 500 million in sales, right? No SX/MX video game is doing half a billion dollars in sales anytime soon.

under audio settings there are two on/off options at the bottom. Push-to-talk makes it so your mic isnt live all the time. I can't remember what the wording of the other one is, something like "Voice chat" but toggling it off will do exactly what you want.

I think its ptt and always on for the 2 options. Dosnt change anything for me cause im not using a mic. Its the bone heads eating potato chips while they race that need to change it from always on to push to talk. How do you even eat while racing without a third arm! I need to google it like mentioned earlier and find a way to turn off all xbox live chat or something. Ill mess with it this weekend if I get a chance. Thanks

I just got this game 2 days ago. Is there a way to get rid of the input lag to control the damn bike? Game is basically unplayable when your bike moves 1 second after you move the sticks.

Coming from mx sim this game isnt delivering at all. Have about 4 hours in it and am winning every race on hardest difficulty. Want my $30 back!

What platform do you play on? I don't see any input lag on xbox

I get that it's a game, and issues happen that you don't expect, but the lack of updates to even acknowledge the issue from Milestone is extremely disappointing.

I can't stand the game in 3rd person but absolutely love it in 1st.

Wish they would sort it out.

Some people don't know the difference between not being good at a game and a game just simply having bad controls. My lap times are top 50 on the leaderboards on every track.

I agree. I have some pretty fast lap times. I Think a few are still in the top 100.

Mr. Knobby

Thanks appreciate the kind words. The learning curve on this editor is a tad higher than the last one. But I am starting to get it all figured out.

LOL, Thanks I needed that laugh!.. I regret mentioning last year that I may in fact buy a PS console. But it is just so far out of reach in terms of having time to do an entire new set of tracks. Not looking for sympathy as every seems to do these days here is why.

MONDAY: 11 Hr workday. Dinner with fam. Spend time with my 2 remaining kids. 10pm and start a new track.

TUESDAY:11 Hr workday. Pick up kid from BS'er, Hang with him till 9PM. Practice drumming for Wed night. 10PM continue track making.

WEDNESDAY: 7 Hr workday, head to wed night practice, play till 9pm, Watch Survivor with Wife, Contine track making.

THURSDAY: 11 Hr workday, Dinner with Fam, American Idol with wife. 8pm continue track making.

FRIDAY: Drag this 51 yr old body back to work. Dinner with fam. TV with Fam. 11pm Finalize track for Saturday upload.

SATURDAY: Sit in front of Raceday Live, Spend a few hours racing the track before upload. Watch NBC GOLD SX.

SUNDAY: Church till 1pm. Work on camper build vlog, Leather couch till bedtime. ,

How have they not yet fixed the issue with the AI forcing you to crash with their front tire contacting your back tire? They just spin you out. You can't squeeze them off on the inside at all. If you make a small mistake in the corner and they're behind you, they're going to contact your back tire and down you go. MX Unleashed on the PS2 didn't have this problem and it was released in 2004. Come on now.

Positives though. I really enjoy the way you can slide around the back end in corners. Not quite exactly perfect like I hope it will be one day, but it sure is a good step forward.

What the hell is wrong with the first person POV camera after this last update? They have literally destroyed the game for first person players.
