No way should be racing when the track is this bad. Just ridiculous. I understand you get some mud races but this is just stupid.

So what they should back up and go home? I think it’s great racing. Makes it just that much more interesting to watch

They need a riders union. They could all agree to have the race on Wednesday when the track dries out.

Motocross is an outdoor sport. We're having a good time watching it- but I don't have to ride it. Hell, I've raced worse and paid money to do it.

If dungey can race the 2011 southwick national on a malfunctioning bike then these guys can tough out a mud race.

I knew I would get some harsh responses. Lol. It is what it is. I figured they would put off until tomorrow to be honest. I think they have actually done that before if I remember right. Maybe I’m wrong.

Really? This isn't even the muddiest supercross ever. I am disappointed that the mud is preventing a good look at the military appreciation bikes and gear in action.

I’ve been following this sport since ‘79, and I’ve never heard of a race being pushed back a day because of rain.

The day a race is delayed/cancelled due to rain (not something dangerous like lightning, hurricane, etc) is the day I stop watching.

Rain races gauge a riders ability in all conditions.

The AMA talked about canceling Hangtown at the riders meeting and a lot of people were in agreement but they were having a vet pro exhibition race in conjunction like today's 2 stroke shootouts.

To the best of my fuzzy recollection, Eric McKenna stood up and said (very loosely paraphrased) "Don't be a bunch of pussies, I'll show you how it's done!" and he grabbed his bike and hit the track since vets practice was scheduled for right after the riders meeting. That's was the end of any talk of canceling the race.
