Some news from Transworld. That is a bummer, lets hope that they get going soon again.

Man that is not good. I really appreciate Don's way of running the website and I especially like the way he does his videos. He seems very relaxed and personal friends just about everybody he interviews. I have really enjoyed his new Podcast also. Best of luck Don. I know with your passion you will find a way back.

They are profitable yet their parent company does not want the magazine to continue? Sounds fishy... If they have value and are making money, what company would not want to keep them going or sell them off for a profit?

Wow! Well hopefully the same great people who are running it now can just continue with it under a new name and company? This is actually better news than I was expecting when I clicked that link. I was convinced they were just going to say the magazine is no longer profitable like so many other publications.

Sad news, I still have the first issue somewhere , bought it at a magazine shop at Singapore Airport on an overseas trip.

That’s a bummer. I’m subscribed to the magazine and they’ve put on a great motocross series in SoCal over the years. Hopefully they come back with new owners.

Thought it was weird they never released results of their 250 shootout.
That sucks to hear.

Happens all the time in these sort of acquisitions.

Does this explain Anton's recent behavior?

Business can be brutal. But it sounds like the ending of it could be a new beginning for it, or something else. Good luck Donn!

I have a feeling this will not be the end of the TWMX entity. They have a successful race series, Donn has been picking up steam with his Swaplive shows, and (from what I have heard) they have weathered the "print media" storm better than others. If anyone can come through this and continue on, it's these guys.

As a TWMX alum, I'm rooting for them to continue on. Heck maybe without the corporate overlords they can bring back the Mullet Hunt!

That's too bad I loved their magazine when I was younger. Personally I haven't bought a magazine in years so I guess I'm part of the problem. To be fair even if I wanted to buy a magazine I'm not sure where I would get one since all the book stores and newsstands are closed down that aren't in an airport.

TWMX may have technically been a competitor to Vital, but I always enjoyed reading Monday Kickstart and watching their video content. I hope Swap, Michael, and the rest of the crew get something else rad going soon.

Don posted saying that their parent company was bought by another media outlet and didn't want to continue with TWMX. Sounds like they are looking for another publisher.
