Moto things you didn't need but are glad you have?

So my birthday is coming up next month and my girlfriend wants ideas of what to get me. She said she wants it to be something I wouldn't normally by myself like tires or gear so I'm curious what tools or accessories you have that are out of the norm that you love. The only thing I can think of is the pit posse sissor lift stand (or similar) or maybe a good portable Bluetooth speaker for tunes at the track. Anything you guys have that makes your moto days more enjoyable that's not basic moto gear?

A nice gas jug is great to have but something most people don’t spend the extra cash on.

I would suggest NOT getting something that will wear out. Ask for something that will last. Ask for a tool. Whenever you use it, you can be reminded of her. It may not be at the level of some guy using the same tool that his passed away father used to use, but it could be a reminder for you.

I'm a bit of a toolaholic. I have the spring tool and a nice gas jug already lol. Only tools I actually don't have are stuff like case spreaders. I do all my own mechanic work except for the bottom end so most of that is handled. Got good chairs, a new canopy, basic stand, track tool box, ect. Which is why I'm looking for more outside the box kind of things. And yes hopefully something that will last long term.

+1 on the bluetooth speaker. I have a UE Boom 2. Waterproof, shockproof, and it hasn't broke yet. Even though I use it at work. I also use it when washing the bike, unloading/loading the bike somewhere, hanging out, working out, in the shower, etc.

I broke down and bought an ultrasonic parts cleaner, was surprised how it well it cleans up parts, bolts etc, versus me with wire brush and parts cleaner.

I've got a hydraulic lift stand. I 100% don't need it but I bought it super cheap and it's made my life so much easier. Nothing wrong with normal stands and hydro ones are a bit expensive and NOT worth the RRP (RRP on mine was £69.99, almost $100) but man I couldn't live without it now haha.

If you with a bluetooth speaker, get one with a radio built in. Comes in handy at races if they have a signal. I have a Ryobi one that works on a 18v battery that is really good. Especially since it shares the same battery as my weed wacker, blower, tire inflator, etc.

Has been great to be able to measure sag myself. Its one of those things people set and forget but it can change and is a great tuning tool.

A tire changing stand takes the cake. You don’t need it, but it sure is nice. The stand was last forever and they’re not very expensive. I have the Motosport stand and it works like a charm. It also breaks down and tucks away in my van nicely.

The slacker is sweet. It’s nice not having to ask the dude next to you to hold a tape measure.
A nice digital pressure gauge is great too. Takes some of the guesswork out.
