Man, that was scary. I thought for sure someone was going to hold back because of that yellow flag and run him over. That could have been much worse than it already is.

And I think making the whoops as huge as they are is unnecessary. I’d rather see a section of sand rollers where the whoops go on every track.

It did not look like a neck tweak at all. Face, chest, left shoulder. I would say he was knocked out...shoulder and rib injuries. No protective gear beyond a helmet is going to protect you from a hit like that.

Ping has been saying this for years and I agree; make them big and right out of a turn. The fast guys will still get through them good but they wont be flying through them so if they crash it won't be as bad.

I somewhat agree with that. Favours factory suspension and big balls but real ugly when crashing into. I've had two bad shoulder separations from them things.

I just rewatched again. Not really. The seat landed on his leg...but nothing that looked like it would break anything that I saw. Who knows. It was bad.

Fingers crossed for him. I mean it looked pretty brutal, but it didn’t look like his neck got wrenched in any crazy direction or anything. Good thing he didn’t end up in the face of that jump.

Hate to say it but I think it’s his femur. That leg is broken in some fashion. Sucks so bad. He was definitely at his all time best.
