Is there one person on earth that truly loves jetting a bike or cleaning a carb??? My kids only want to ride so often, so the idea of not having to clean the carb or fuck with jetting is quite appealing to me..... Good job Honda

If you can't afford the sport leave for fucks sake. So tired of people who need to have car payments, credit card payments, cell phone payments, take vacations, go out to eat, etc bitching about the cost of the sport. Go fucking hang yourself or stop posting here.

Lack of carb cleaning is nice. What's maybe nicer is no flooding when junior lays the thing on its side, and comes wandering over for help

Honda puts EFI on trail bikes and someone on someone on Vital says "go hang yourself". How the fuck does this happen? I'm truly flabbergasted.

I was cleaning carburators jetting the bike and could rebuild a top end before I could drive a car. I guess the future generation wont have that skill set. Just stay on your cell phone all day and pay the bike shop to do it in 2019.

Do you want a biscuit or a cookie for this amazing life accomplishment?

Look, it's clear how you feel. Good news for you there is an abundant market of gently used trail bikes with gummed up carbs that you'll be able to buy cheap then clean and fix up all by yourself. Yay!

Still not sure why you're so angry?

OMG dude. I really want to meet you in person so I can see your face knowing that you will load up your bike and drive to the shop unload it and pay 300$ for some one to clean your carb when I could have been done with the card and your sister in an hour for free. 2018 is absolutely depressing. And I could have done that in high school no problem.
The reason you find 2018 absolutely depressing is because you spend your free time being overly-emotional on internet forums over shit that does not affect your life one single bit. Now keep telling us how tough you are while wiping your tears and punching your pillow.

EFI on entry level bikes isn't a bad idea, and given the number of substantial changes a $300 price increase isn't unreasonable.

The CRF230F came/comes choked up ostensibly due to emissions requirements. Will the new CRF250F, having EFI run cleaner allowing for a more unrestricted motor right off the showroom floor?

Also, thumbs up for EFI and FINALLY putting a rear disc brake on a CRF trail bike. But weighing 265 pounds is a major bummer. 16 pounds more than the 230 which is already portly.

But I bet you still live with your parents, and you whine because Honda is offering FI and it costs more money ,so I still think you are in the millennial wimp category but you do show some promise.Wink Quit responding to every post on the thread that you don't like and I bet you were not looking to buy a new CRF anyway so why do you care.

WOW! step off the ledge and calm down

2018 CRF 230F = $4299 MSRP
updated FI equipped CRF 250F = $4599 MSRP

A $300 increase for updated styling and fuel injection. Honda should actually be applauded!!

$300 is about the price for a carb clean when your 230F has been sitting unridden for a few months and all of a sudden it's riding season and your bike won't start or runs like crap...which is VERY common for those bikes and the people that buy and use them.
$300 seriously? I cleaned the carb on our KLX 140 in an hour or two. 15 minutes of carb cleaning and 1:45 of dealing with the bazillion fasteners for the seat, tank, side panels etc.

I think that it’s great. Introduce EFI earlier for Junior and make him familiar with the technology.

Hell, if that's the case why pay $300 for a carb clean when you can buy the whole damn carb brand new for $230!

You are a millennial wimp and you live with your parents. I care because it impacts ridership and a lot of tracks are closing.

I am a "baby boomer" and you are grasping at straws. Some of us can afford to buy the better and more expensive stuff and maybe you will understand when you grow up and move out of your parents house and contribute something to society. Now go do your homework before your mom takes away your internet. Laughing

You don't contribute anything to society and I know you live with your parents. Go smoke some cigarettes and pollute the ozone layer babyboomer. My mom died when she got ran over by a babyboomer, thanks for bringing that up and bringing moms into it.
