11/8/2018 6:30am Who the hell needs EFI on a mini trail bike? I got so pissed when I saw this I did not look up the price difference. Next will be dual exhaust on a 50. I won't be buying Honda out of resent for the impact of stupid EFI trail bikes on ridership.

You make some fair points, EFI is simpler in that you do not need to constantly optimise the fuel/air flow. It is however a little more complex to diagnose problems (as you stated), plus although you may not have to clean jets you may (on odd occasions) have to clean injectors

11/6/2018 12:02pm If you cant fix a Honda trail bike just give up your man card these are the easiest bikes to work on. I could pound a 5th of Tequila and fix an XR carb with one eye open faster than your sister on a first date no problem

I guess I'm old school, I like simplicity. I'll take a carb over FI any day. I've even converted my FI Harley to carburetor. It seems overkill to have it on a kids trail bike.
