My dear friend, Kyle Pulley - nc_mx_kid on here, was involved in a bad road motorcycle accident right outside of Charlotte on Sunday night. He was in surgery all night and his family wasn't notified until yesterday morning. I went to see him last night and he's doing better but overall in bad shape...Broken femur and tib/fib. Broken humorous and lacerated liver. Thankfully no head injuries. He is one tough dude but he has a long road ahead and can use all of the prayers he can get.

Definitely praying for the dude. Couldn't imagine all that pain without having your bell rung to disorient you at least a little bit. But definitely a positive thing that he didn't have any head injuries. Keep us updated. Road bike injuries can be so brutal.

Oh no! Prayers for Kyle for sure. Don't know him personally, though I am familiar with the dealership he works at. Used to know the owner and live within an hour of there. Kyle has been posting on here for as long as I've been around. Hope he heals fast!

Got the text message about it yesterday shortly after landing at CLT coming back from Red Bud.... my heart immediately dropped for KP... keeping my eyes on Ross's updates and sending all the positive vibes I can Kyle's way.

As I understand it, he was hit by a "distracted driver"... PLEASE, FOLKS, LETS PUT DOWN THE PHONES WHEN DRIVING. I'm guilty of it myself but trying to to be more and more mindful of it.

He and his brother both raced with JMX for years.

Sorry for your friend! Thought about getting a bike for a few months last year, then thought about how people drive on/inside the 485 loop and noped out of it. Hope his recovery goes smoothly.

Damn. I opened this thread and started reading about his accident and thought "thankfully he wasn't killed; sounds like he was pretty damn close." I then realized the thread was from 2018 and saw the reason it was bumped. RIP Kyle. Be careful out there.

We're all at a loss for words right now. Kyle was a free spirit with an infectuous zest for life. Even in the dark times after his accident in 2018 he was positive and upbeat about his circumstances and still pushed onward. He will be sorely missed by all who were so fortunate to have known him. <3

Rest In Peace, Kyle. I've only known him via this forum, but interacting with him here the last 13 years+ he seemed like an awesome guy, dad, and fun loving person. Sincere condolences, love and prayers to his family/friends.
