My buddies and I checked the website an hour ago to see if camping was still available and the only thing left was A4 camping. We finished dinner and decided to go back and pull the trigger. Well I just checked and ALL of the camping is sold out now. I cant believe even the tent camping lot would be sold out. Anyone know if they will be selling anymore/opening up more spots? Really kicking myself for not buying them an hour ago.

All sites were sold out almost a week ago. Unless they just listed more, it may have been a glitch or you misread.

I was going to go...

But I broke my ankle something fierce a month ago.

No Unadilla this year, and, even more tragically, no des nations.

Party hard all.

As far as I know, there won't be any pubs but I'm sure there will be beer tents and the like. Definitely bring a cooler full if you're camping as track drinks are expensive and also cut off when the festivities are done.

If you aren't camping, you can store your stuff at my campsite if you'd like or haven't found anybody. We'll have plenty of our own so no need to worry about us drinking yours!

I doubt there will be any place for overnight parking. They will prolly want all cars out by 12 am and back in at 6 am. I thought about the same thing. I have a cap on my truck I was just gonna put an air mattress in and sleep in there. I emailed redbud and we are 23rd on the list if people cancel or can’t make it. For the people that did buy camping, was there any incentive to let redbud know if you can’t make it? Any refund, or anything? Basically how will redbud know if you can’t make it?

I also heard that they wont let you park overnight cause thats what my cheap ass was gonna do and sleep in the back. We bought a camping spot just for that reason. Bought a cheap pop up to pull up there, got a crew of at least 5 maybe 7 going with us. There is no incentive I was made aware of for us to let Red Bud know if we cant make it. If we were to cancel I would at least call them though to see if I could get refunded. I think anyone else would do the same as those camp sites are not cheap.

Curious - How far away are you, how long must you travel ? Are you bringing a squad, gang or family ?
From the Netherlands. We're with a group organized by WestcoastTravelAdventures. Total group is around 70 people from what I've heard. I booked the holiday (2 weeks in total) with 7 close friends.

Staying at the track like wild pigs or sleeping in a cozy hotel ? Where ?
We had the option to choose between sleeping in a tent at the camping or a hotel nearby. We have some girls in our group so they wanted to sleep in a hotel, but I will stay at the camping as long as possibleLaughing

First time to a Des Nations ?
Nope, went to 2006 GB and 2012 Lommel

First time to Red Bud ?
Hell yes

Attending fancy dinner Friday night?
I think soLaughing

We'll be there with 75 MX fans from the Netherlands and Belgium! We'll start the trip in California were we'll enjoy the beautiful beaches, the MX tracks, tours and good discounts at some of the industry companies and some warm up partying before going to Vegas for 2 nights. We have 8 vans so the group is split up in smaller groups to make it more convenient.

After Vegas we'll fly to Chicago for the MXoN!

Also for next years MXoN and "Zwarte Cross" in the Netherlands we'll organize two really cool trips to get the MX fans from the US over for a little Euro Trip!

if interested let us know!

We will be coming over from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago Friday afternoon as soon as the kids get off school. In normal Sunday morning traffic it should be just a little over 2 hrs, but expecting 3+ hrs for this time.

Camping in Lot A4 in our smallish Toyhauler we bought this year mainly for this race, but also for local races. Staying until Monday.

Been to Red Bud 10-15 times. First national in 1989. Most recently for Vetfest in 2015.

2nd MXoN for me - 2016 Maggiora. First for my wife and 2 daughters (8 & 10). Also my girls first big Pro event. We are hoping to get there early enough Friday to get a spot in A4 closer to the Family side than the Lot B side. If not... I guess we may just be having some discussions with the girls a little earlier than planned. ?
