rippinruts Added a reply to Forkner injury

Was trying to read through this to see if there was an update on him. But I cant even go through 1 page. How can people right away turn this thread into something negative towards forkner. Even if the best for his health would be to back down, why not support him for his love and dedication for the sport...

I went to 2 of the Aus X supercross here in New Zealand and they were amazing. Would go again in a heartbeat. This isn't for people in the US that can pick from 17 events

What do you guys think? I have seen some of his lessons, and they seem pretty good. But obviously riding style and pace has developed alot every year. Is the basics still the same as they were 10 years ago? and 20 years ago?

I think the correct path is to go race the EMX 125 series .

shoot the designer who is going to be printing it a few of your favorite jersey references above. getting an exact match can be super hard. getting something close/timeframe accurate is not. something like the grey/white windham that mav posted will be the easiest to match, that's just a straight forward stencil font. also keep in mind many of the rider name/number lockups you see for pros are modified/custom fonts. I'm a designer, let me know if you have any questions

Anyone have font ideas for the number on my NoFear jersey? I want it to fit in on the gear, which I believe is from early 2000’s. Thanks.

You are absolutely correct, on TV it's not my job to break down riding styles, bike setup, etc. Seriously, if I go too deep there will be a vital thread that says "WTH Weege has never won a title what does he know???" GL can handle that, but there's not much time for analysis when action is happening all around. There are a thousand other sources out there for that info, many of which I'm involved with, and even here on Vital (pit bits!). Our post race podcast is probably as deep insider as it gets. I understand if you're...

What you actually saw there was a pass happening at the EXACT time we were coming off of commercial break on TV. When you watch on Peacock you get to see the action during commercials, but during the final 10 seconds coming back from the TV commercial break, on Peacock we have to be silent so it will make for a clean edit/audio when we rejoin the TV broadcast. Note that about 3 seconds after Barcia makes the pass you hear the "whoosh" sound and the NBCSN logo pops up on the screen. Bad timing there but nothing we can...

Just a heads up for people looking at this tool. It doesn't work on the latest gen Showa 49 mm forks on the 18+ RMZ, 17+ CRF, and 19+ KX 450s because of the fork cap design. The cap has a raised portion for the bleeder screw that prevents the flat head from touching the adjuster.

This might be a stupid question, especially from one who have ridden dirtbikes for many years. But does anyone have a certain technique for adjusting their fork compression if the adjuster is right below the handlebar? Yes, it is doable, but the adjuster screw is definately gonna get chewed up after a while. Yz250f in particular Thanks

I use this. Bones gave me a couple back in the day. It’s basically the same thing as the Race Tech tool, and it works good for that application. Don’t know if Pro Circuit still has them or not.
