Looks like RJ will have his work cut out for him.

I pity the fool.

I'm all for having fun and making a joke out of literally any event on earth except the MXdN. Ronnie Mac is perfect for the US Nationals, US Supercross, Red Bull Straight Rhythm and Monster Cup events. Just not the most historic event in our sport that is seldom on US soil.

Yeah, maybe if will ferrel was a professional athlete in a sport in the Olympics this would be comparable. Believe it or not, Ronnie Mac (Jimmy Albertson) is actually a professional racer.
Ok bad example.

This is like sending dwayne johnstone to the olympics in wrestling as the "Rock"

Still a bad example. The Olympics style of wrestling is grappling type of wrestling. The WWF wrestling is entertainment "fake" wrestling. Two totally completely different disciplines. Jimmy Albertson is the real deal professional motocross racer who performed at an incredibly high level. He's not a fake professional motocross racer.

A better example for you would be to dress Michael Phelps up in a clown costume and send him out into the Olympics to swim. Is he a professional swimmer? Yep. Will he still be able to swim really in a clown costume? Yep. Will he win? Nope. But he would still be better than 99.9% of everyone else in the world.
Wait a second... did you just say wrestling is fake??? Whaaaaaaat???Blink Blink Angry Angry

But neither Dwayne nor the Rock has ever competed professionally as a Olympic style wrestler. Jimmy Albertson has competed as a professional motocross racer. Your comparrison doesn't make sense. Maybe compare someone who has done it such as Kurt Angle. He wrestled (real wrestling) professionally prior to becoming a WWF wrestler.
Yeah good point. Im not knowledgable enough on WWE and wrestling, it was the closest thing I could reference that matches this shit show.

Embarrassing. Maybe a sideshow like the RBSR not the MXON.

Don't turn MXDN into Zwarte Cross. Nothing against Zwarte Cross at all...look's like a helluva good time.

Worse teams with truly roached out bikes show up and try to qualify every year. If they show up and make it, then it speaks for itself. These guys can beat half the field out there.

Who cares the guy had a number of top 10 finishes as a privateer. Are you guys trying to discredit the guy. What's your guys best finish.
I raced my ass off best I could with what I had for years and never got near the gate of an AMA National. In my book any rider that can run in the top 20 is an elite racer and has done something extraordinarily difficult.

If he can beat Vilipoto at straight rythum on a shit box 98 Honda I'm sure he can put in a respectable ride at mxdn.

I think they might have a shot at the main. I think one rider is a throw away in the qualifiers. And the talent drops off real fast about halfway through the field.

It doesnt matter how good of a racer Ronnie MacAlbertson is. Or if he's faster than the top riders from many other countries. Mx des nations shouldn't allow a clown show. They could then take a national b-team from every country, and make them like funny teams, in the name of charity. Puerto Rican team, yeah right, that whole thing is a joke. That said, if Albertson will race I don't believe for a second that he would do it as Ronnie Mac.

It's hilarious that guys keep referring to his bike as a piece of shit. You do realize stickers and cut fenders really don't make your bike a piece of shit, right? That bike runs REALLY well and is serviced/maintained properly.

He will have a sweet bike for the MXdN. A bike that two stroke enthusiats dream about.

My entire theory , and this will be the ronnie mac that shows up , if people actually think FIM is gonna allow him to run with a fake name , some roached out 2003 cr250 .... They aren't . Jimmy is faster now then he was then , i believe everyone is in for a serious treat . not a a serious joke , I think the joking part was 3 washed up racers are going to MXON for a team that didnt have enough money for riders ... they are going to take this seriously ..

Ugh. His bike isn't roached out. Seriously. God damn you people are dense. I've said it multiple times, a damn cut fender doesn't mean the bike is roached out. His bike is professionally built and maintained.

I hope he gets in there and kicks some ass, not much has been said about his divorce, but I guarantee the guy is heartbroken... I know that comes off as kind of mushy but that's a hard blow to anyone that has been through the big D. Maybe this will help him resurface and jump start Part 2 of his career. Just a thought.

We don't know. But the team has it figured out.

You people act like these things are end of the world stuff. Are people seriously concerned about his gear? Like wtf? If he can't wear his overalls then he's gonna have some goofy custom made gear done up that passes the FIMs regulations. Is this shit rocket science? Am I super smart and have tons of common sense? Or are people really just this dumb? I'm gonna go with people are this dumb because I know I ain't that smart nor am I a rocket scientist.

Because part of “ronnie mac” is his appearance and bike. Like, a LARGE part of it is.

This is all a confusing ordeal. The MX des Nations is not a place for Ronnie Mac. Ronnie Mac is a rolling joke, a made up person purely for entertainment purposes. His humor has no place at the MXD. If they go to seriously race and raise money for Puerto Rico, I am all for it. If they go to clown around I would prefer they stay home.

OMG...it's a hillbilly dirtbike race. You act like its the rider cup.

Little news flash....NO ONE CARES outside of dirt bike riders. Most of my friends laugh their ass off that I ride/race on "a dirty butt dirt bike track". Who gives a rats ass if they all show up with clown outfits and dildos strapped to their bike. It doesn't matter to 97% of the world.

So? You don't think they can make overall themed riding gear if his aren't approved? He will still look like Ronnie Mac out there but everything will be up to snuff. These guys are all professionals going into this thing. Do you think they'll just show up without having everything approved and legit? This ain't Joe from down the street showing up to his first local MX race.
