First day of testing on the 2019 RMZ 250 @suzukicycles

A post shared by Jeremy Albrecht (@jbonejgr) on Jul 30, 2018 at 10:04am PDT

They've got Jimmy Decotis out testing it this morning. There's some videos floating around in certain team member's insta stories.

Fairly long head pipe coming out of the new center exhaust port.

I thought JBone said they had already been testing with the '19 250? Or did they just get the motor earlier?

If suzuki had to change to a centerport, but didnt change the head any, then i dont know what to say lol. Ill bet its got a tad more power at least. Looks great!

Can't wait.

Guess I missed the PR info about it. Is it the same as 450, new chassis and bodywork but old engine? Or is it a all new engine on it.

Motor sounds the same. I'm a little worried the engine hasn't changed enough.

There's always that guy who can't resist emulating the backside of a Donkey for no apparent reason other than to be one.

JGR needs new riders for the 250 effort. I get A Mart and Lopes. Anybody think they go after McAdoo or Harrison if they are out there ?

I'm pretty sure I read the dynos from last year's 250fs and the zuk kawi and Honda have the same peak hp.

Edit
Nevermind that's pretty horrific

Don't worry ML, if it was a euro rider he would be a "top 3" rider for sure in our series.....

ML512 it's the whole then/than thing that loses me when insulting a fellow member.

I always like a good underdog to root for, and while I wasn't really impressed with JGR's 250f riders before this season, I must say I was pleasantly surprised how competitive they all were (other than Justin Hill mailing it in after his win). The team had to be pumped with Jimmy D and Peters grabbing podiums.

Next year I will be rooting for this team for sure!

Whoa, you can tell by the sound of the motor in the insta video if it has changed from a previous year or not?

Center port exhaust, you say? I do believe we have the newest candidate for a 500 conversion.

Suzuki really trying to rebuild their race program. That being said why they going to bring out the same bike? I guess I don’t have the powers he has because that bike sounded like it was ripping pretty damn good. The motor has the same outer casting, all new innerds, new head. The new head is where this bike is gonna gain the ponies. I’m pretty positive the JGR 250’s will be up front all year. JGR was asking suzuki for a platform that could be made into a high power race bike, I’m sure they got it, and they’ve been testing Their 19’s longer than anyone else. That should let the doubters know that they gonna mean business in SX. Do you think A’mart gonna race this bike to get beat? He’ll no. How long we have to wait for all the details?

Wouldn’t it be funny if everyone that’s talking shit ends up buying 19 Rmz 250’s next year Laughing Honestly I hope for the best from Suzuki and really want to see them make a great bike, if we can just get a couple more ponies out of that engine it’d be great! Cool

There's going to be a whole line of JGR performance mods for Suzuki's also, like GYTR.
