How many years have you been riding/going to races?

27 or 28 years I think.

39 yrs

43 years racing. (not once a year stuff but racing almost every weekend)
46 years riding.

Asked my dad for a motorcycle, he told me if I wanted anything, I would need a job and save my money. At 17 I bought a 77 yz 125 in 1978

Got a qr50 in 1988, first raced a kx60 in 1991. So 27 years since my first race.

It shits me when I hear the likes of JT on pulp mx saying unless you're a professional you cant feel the difference of how a bike handles, what an arrogant asshole.

I got my first bike in '79 (XR80), I didn't even know about motocross. First race was in 1980 on an RM80, so 38 years.
And it's still fun and exciting to go to the races, what a gift!

86’ still racing at 43 I’m on track 4-6 days a week and race arenacross.

47 for myself
1st Race was on a Honda CT70 next week my dad got me a JT1 Yamaha 60. Been hooked ever since the first race.

Started on my older cousins 69 Honda 50 in 74 & have been addicted ever since.

53 now. Started at age 5 on mini bikes before going to a Honda step through

Riding since 1976. Racing 45+ class LLAQ this weekend.

I pretty much grew up at the track in the van we used to haul bikes.... 25 years for me

32 years going .25 years racing

I've been going to the races since the very first Superbowl of MX, then the Carlsbad USGP a year or two later. I could count the SoCal Nats and SXs I've missed since then on half a hand.

What I love about this place is I'm 50 and some of these posts make me feel like a youngbuck!
I don't even give a crap how old I am, you only live once, let's ride.

Riding for 42 years and racing for 40...though I just race evo vintage-ish stuff these days.

43 years here. Stopped racing in the early 90's though. Sometimes I think about getting another bike.

Started riding around 1984, first MX race bike was a used 87 CR125, started racing 1991. Off and on ever since, in between a couple injuries, deployments and conflicts with my "job". The only thing I know for certain is that you can never, ever "quit" or lose the moto bug entirely. It must be similar to other forms of addiction?

38 years. First rode older brothers Honda 65 whenever my parents weren't around. First race 28 years ago.

First race, May of 78, was 4 and ready to take on the planet. Suzuki JR 50, got second and was hooked. One week later, Dad had me on an Italjet, then the fun really began!

23 racing. Few years off through that time. Started riding in the yard probably 5 years before my first race on a quad in the yard then on an xr80 (red one).

Started riding the summer of ‘73 on a very used Honda sl125 that dad bought for 90 bucks. Been hooked ever since! Remember seeing Marty Smith dominate in ‘75. Saw Hannah “let Brock bye” in ‘77. Been to countless races.....and still love it!

Hooked since the mid 70's, started on a home made mini bike, to a Rupp Hustler and the rest is history!
