The only acceptable way for him to do this is to pass him and run and hide. If your main goal in a race is to mess with somebody else then you should be removed.

What happened in Foxboro was a mistake on both of their parts... Eli left the door wide open, and anybody would have gone for that pass in the heat of battle. Unfortunately, the timing was off and it ended bad.

But to think about a situation for a week or two and make your whole strategy to mess someone else up is childish. I was a fan of Eli till he pulled that last year in Vegas.

Eli asked where the line should be drawn, and it should be drawn at premeditation.

Why do the Eli fan boys keep claiming he’s gonna do this and do that. I just don’t see it.

Was going to say the same thing.

10th = 13 pts which is good ebough regardless of what Marvin does.

Are they using this gay points format for outdoors? #bringbacktheoldpointsystem

Better solution is get rid of rider 21 and 22, give that payout to guys in the main and make it a 20 man main. The old point system was designed for 20 guys not 22.
Still using the old points system for outdoors just like the previous years.

1st = 25pts
2nd = 22pts
3rd = 20pts
4th = 18pts

And so on...

Musquin will have 5 wins to Anderson's 4 if he wins Vegas. 14 points is the gap, here's the scenarios.

Musquin wins, 26 points (5 wins to Jason's 4)
Anderson would need 10th or better.

Musquin finishes 2nd (Same wins, but it would be Marvin's 5th 2nd place finish to Jason's 4 2nd place finishes)
Anderson would need 13th or better to take the title.

Musquin finishes 3rd (Same wins, same 2nds, Marvin would have more 3rd place finishes)
Anderson would need 15th or better to win the title.

Theoretically lets say something happens and Anderson isn't able to compete in the main event, Marvin would need 8th or better to surpass Anderson in the points with 15 points.

I bet Marv wishes he rolled around and got a 15th or so now instead of pulling out with a contusion to the shoulder.
The contusion was Tomac, Marv dislocated his.

I hope they get just enough drama out of this to not go with that lame idea of a “chase format”. This is not nascar. Not matter how much they want it to be. The whole idea of a rider not being able to keep his shit together for 17 Rounds, and now we are gonna reset the points so everyone gets a chance is ridiculous.

+2. Proof that good old fashioned racing is where it's at. Don't need joker lanes, chase format, smoke bombs or oil slicks. Just need as many healthy riders as possible.

Anything can happen. That Vegas dirt is sketchy. I’m betting on a Musquin win and Anderson to cruise home in 5th position.

In the 250s, I don’t see anyone getting the championship aside from the leaders.

Yep. Healthy riders is the biggest. Unfortunately it's also the hardest to sustain.

If Tomac truly has revenge on his mind then like it was said, he will ruin Marvin’s chance at the title of given the opportunity.

I don’t know smoke bombs and oil slicks would interesting, add in spiked tuff blocks and triples over gator pits and we may have something here.

Eli's Holeshots are never from a good jump off the gate, therefore he needs to be away from Marv on the line or he will come over on him every time! Marvin's holeshots are usually from a great jump off the gate. Eli needs to give Marv a good Reed job at Vegas and punt him off the track. ANDERSON wins the title!

I've noticed Eli usually ends up mid pack on short starts, while he usually gets the holeshot on longer start straights.

Do you remember the year Chad Reed actually slowed down and tried to run Villipoto off the track outside the stadium at vegas? He needed Villipoto to dnf and it did not work, but nothing was said back then? ..... Oh wait, it was Chad Reed.

Eli isn't going to do anything, guys. His number 1 complaint was that the series is inconsistent on handing out penalties for dirty riding and knows they're watching him with a magnifying glass. If he caught Musquin at SLC I'd be willing to bet he was going to pass him clean and try and check out, not play games and put him on the ground.

That is what's wrong today, they won't touch Marv but they'll watch Eli? B.S. He better be ready to throw the first block pass because Marvin won't hesitate at this point!

Hell, maybe we are all missing the point here and Anderson will be the one that takes out Marv again to secure the championship!

How exactly did he take Jason out? I think that'd be a first. Also, the contact between the two helped out Marvin.

I'm not getting a lot of sense out of what you guys are posting.

That was Ralph and Jeff's fault, they kept saying it all night that Tomac's footpeg destroyed Andersons wheel, but it was Anderson that ran/fell into to the back of Tomac?

You thinking of Stewart?
As I remember there was no to little contact, just simply boxed him out to the side of the track, not sure what's wrong with that, especially with the way they always raced each other, he was expecting something at some point, and if the tables were turned it'd be the same scenario

You are correct it was Stewart and it was even after several slow downs, look over the shoulders and when Stewart would'nt take the bait Reed tried to run him off the track outside of the stadium. If I remember correct Ralph was devastated ...... Oh man there goes the two time champs chance at a third, Stewart stays upright ........

Wasn't it Tomac's bike that busted JA's front spokes? Obviously unintentional but it was still ET's bike that busted his spokes.

I’ve made the same observation and Vegas has a long start.
