now it was a "frenchie" on a "pumpkin", and it wasnt on the last lap of the last race, which does'nt mean it was not also for the championship.....but still lots of drama and lots of name calling......even from noticables of the american sport.....
but for me the funny shit is that i remember, not that long ago, lots of people here claiming marvin and ken as americans and even choosing them for the american "losing" mxdn team......
what ??? there is no doble standard, and defineatly not foreign hate, it is all normal and very sporty !!!!... we non american are the ones who hate and disrespect the great american nation !!!!!!
and i am quoting "bultaco" just because i know what i am going to get from my post......but he did'nt !!!!!!

Personally I think the line he was talking about is clear, while every incident may not. He seems to want to race clean, but aggressive. Aggressive riding to me is rubbing, blocking, mixing it up. Sometimes someone goes down..o well. Dirty/cheap is purposely putting someone down. Even, if they do not go down.
As for his anger at Marv letting Dungey by last year, sure be pissed but don't for one minute think that if the shoe was on the other foot, Monster Energy Kawasaki wouldn't have done the same. Come on. Tomac didn't lose the championship in Vegas, he lost it with a shitty start to the season and left himself literally no room for error.
What I am surprised by is how badly Tomac reacted after the fact. For someone that's been one of the 'top guys' for his entire career and doled out plenty of hard passes, he way overreacted. He's insanely fast and talented but the only reason he doesn't have multiple 450 championships is himself.
The fact he got this worked up is telling. Guy is more emotional than he lets on...
However Eli brought up a very good point, where is the like drawn in what is too much? 5k fine is nothing and absolutely they should consider docking points over fining riders.
mm's move was I guess not horrible in those passes either the rider goes down or stays up.
It was nothing like Reed's hits on Stewart's which I believe should be point docking worthy.
Emig said that he would have done the same thing as Marvin. He also said he would be pissed if he was Eli. I agree with Emig.
Rubbin is racing, LOL.
DeCoster knows how this game is played. Insert BH crushed headpipe here*
I’m sure most older folks here have seen the Paul Newman movie “ Slapshot”- If not, go find it, because it may apply to this sport...
Pit Row
The guys supposed to be ‘the best’ in the game right now (apparently results do lie) and he came apart once again, when he’s supposed to be interacting with the media and representing his sponsors. He is all ego despite not really delivering Monster Kawasaki with anything but headaches and hollow race wins. They’d trade him in for the RV years again in a heartbeat.
If he keeps on as he is now, he’ll be forgotten real fast when he retires. Unless it’s for ‘most potential with least outcome’, which is a trophy I’m sure he’d love to put over the fireplace.
Eli made a clean pass on Marvin, and got blasted on the last lap. I can fully understand why he'd be upset. I also get why Marvin went for it, even if it wasn't the most elegant pass attempt I've ever seen him make.
Personally, I love that these guys are going for it, and also speaking their minds. It's unfortunate that the venue didn't have a mic for the media folks, so you could actually hear the questions that they're responding to.
You're acting like you have some kind of inside info from the team. True? Or just projecting what you think they're thinking?
But I just can't help but feel like Monster Kawi grabbed themselves a bit of a dud with this guy. You win championships on your bad days, and my god are this guys bad days bad. Not to mention his general attitude to even being on the bike.
stfu and ride (play)
2018 is going to be a long season.
I'd love for Eli to come out next weekend and play bumper cars with a few riders and test the waters on how much the AMA will tolerate and "where they draw the line". All the internet tough guys would have to then admit how much Eli was "just going for the win" and "making it happen" then say "don't leave the door open" to the other riders. Eli said he "isn't going to do anything stupid", but you can bet your ass he will never treat Marvin with the respect he has in the past. In the future, guaranteed he will take him out if necessary to get a win.
