Herlings is faster for sure, but it takes more than raw speed to win a world title, especially over a veteran who has done it 9 times.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Herlings wipe out and miss a few races, then there is no one left to challenge TC.
Its scary how much faster TC and JH are compared to the rest of the field at this point of the season.
He has 2 years left and i don't think that he will retire. But he will be forced to work harder in the offseason if he wants to beat Herlings (unless Herlings crashes out).

I don’t think he would sign an extension if he didn’t enjoy racing still. Clearly he knew herlings was gonna be there so it’s no surprise.
He just saying it’s hard to do. It’s a fact, do you think any of them love training? They love the grind? I don’t, I think they accept it and act like it doesn’t matter because they want to seem mentally strong. Cairoli is at the end of his career so he doesn’t need to care what people think any more.

For sure. Also because motocross is growing a lot in Italy. I have so many fans and this is good because this is what I want, to make the sport bigger. But, in the other side, you have a lot of pressure for sure. I keep saying it from the morning at 6:00am outside the motorhome and people, “We want you to win! We want you to kick the ass of Jeffrey!" It is not easy. He is also a big champion and he is pushing very hard and training. All the pieces need to be in the right place to beat him or also to win the GP. It is very difficult, but this is what is challenging me and this is what keeps me going.
Looks like he still got something to prove unlike your shit post(s) . He clearly says there's something that keeps him going, totally opposite of retiring actually lol, and I'm still trying to get the point of this topic.
