It lets you ride a 450 in the 250 championship.

I picked the Honda for my bike and it went to 450 first. Didn't think I'd have to change the bike when selecting the 250 East championship (doesn't let you select 450 series). I noticed it in the results. Thought it was just a glitch (well, it's obviously a very big glitch) but the number plate backgrounds were white, not black like everyone else.

So if you're winning very easily in the 250 class, you might be on a 450.
What!!! I'm taking this game back now. Not even going to take it out of the plastic when I get home.!!

In all seriousness I'm sure this will be something that is fixed in the next update.

Is it just mine or does anyone else's game have a ton of glitching and buffering? Super annoying. Other than that, pretty cool so far. Hope they come out with an update for the glitching.

Got mine today and spent about an hour on it, first thing I did was change physics to normal. This is not easy! The toughblocks are PITA!

Its not stupid hard like MX Sim, but its not stupid easy. If they could add a third, stupid hard mx sim mode it would be awesome.

I find myself oversteering, wish there was a way to slow down the left stick...

I've been watching different guys play since I don't have the game yet and I'm seeing what you're talking about. I saw a guy land on top of the AI players and nothing happened. He crowd surfed but that's about it. No one went down. The rider's body doesn't seem like he's able to lean all that much. One of the guy's I saw playing the scoreboard was way off. Battling for positions 30-35.

That's just some of the stuff I noticed while watching for 10-15 minutes or so. Looks like Milestone have their work cut out to release a patch/patches because it doesn't seem polished whatsoever.

In all seriousness I'm sure this will be something that is fixed in the next update.
Also when I go to upgrade the components on the 250, it switches back to the 450 and I can't find a way to choose 250 or 450 while in career screen. And it freezes up if you try and go back to main screen from career to switch back to the 250. A restart is required.

I'm not bashing the game. I am in love with all Milestone installments. These are just a few things I've noticed so far.

I'm thinking that after you beat the game it might unlock a "Pro" physics mode. MXGP3 had three physics modes.

There is... slow down your left thumb. Laughing

Kidding aside, have you messed with the bike settings any? I had a problem understeering in MXGP3, made some suspension changes and it turned much better.

Well I feel like this game missed the mark big time but hopefully milestone listen and give us updates or improvements next time around.

Gameplay is alright. I think more punishment is needes for casing jumps instead of just holding it pinned and bouncing through things.

Career mode is bland- Cant sign to actual teams, no story or anything to keep you interested. All they had to do was give you 1 intial race as a privateer on a stock bike like the opening A2 we get with dungey. Your result determines which teams are interested. Teams should be on different tiers and their bikes performance set accordingly. Work your way to better teams each season based on results. Get offered 450 deals based off 250 performance. Make it similar to any other sporting game or F1s career mode.

The difficulty is to easy- I changed every to hard with all assists and I still smoke the AI. Hardest AI difficulty should need a perfect race to win.

San Diego is a terrible track. I hate how the rhythm sections are preplanned for you. They like separated the doubles and triples so thats all you can do. Retarded.

Just got the game, I think it's badass. Never thought I was all that great at video games, now I realize I'm only slightly better than the one armed guy from the videos.

I agree San Diego's a bad track. To Encore's credit their version of San Diego was a lot more technical and interesting.

I love the Milestone MX (and now SX) games, but they do seem to always drop the ball with a couple of layouts - in last yrs game it was Matterley Basin which was woeful, this time it's San Diego.

Im 5 races deep in career mode and cant see anything. which is stupid because im essentially a privateer leading the championship. As if I wouldnt be on a team. Honestly unless your on a factory team you shouldnt be able to win 250 races.

Hopefully next installment we can create our own actual teams and develop the bikes similar to F1. The better you do the more upgrades/income/sponsors for the team.

Been having some fun with it so far. Just put a couple of hours into it. Preformance wise i had 0 issues so far it's really beautiful looking without any framerate issues etc. (running on i7 7700 / gtx 1060)

Gameplay wise it also feels decent, i've just gone straight into hardest difficulty and done some single events and i've been having a hard time winning so far lol... i like that.

My only negative point is that i don't really get a "real sx" feel on most tracks, i dunno some of the rhythms don't feel sharp enough or something (some tracks do have some nice ones with different options through it).

Now that I'm thinking about it, I believe that was the case with me! I selected the kawi, but didnt pay attention since it was 430 this morning when I played. So that is probably why I was winning with a stock bike, I was planning on restarting the career mode anyways and playing on a stock bike while racing on the lower tear "privateer team" and upgrading the bike once I got on a factory team.

Air horns non stop in sx? You can only turn the noise down to 50% and that is bs.

Firat, i race for 8 -10 laps and then I maxed out all the settings and can still lap second place in 2 - 3 laps. Oh yeah living where I do have sat internet. Since I stuck the disk in 9 hours ago the patch still has not finished downloading.

Where are the smokers? I can only pick thumpers

Same thing happened to me but not until i threw parts on the 250 and somehow switched it to a 450. I won tho... By a lot. Couldnt change it until i restarted the game.

You can change it if you go back to the main (home) screen. Just go to "Customize" and switch it back to 250. That's how I've been upgrading my bike during the Career also. Back to main screen and customize and buy parts from there. Mine was switching to the 450 if I tried doing it in the Career mode, and then freezing up.

Ok got a question. I pre ordered the game on Amazon and was told my orders been upgraded. There's no code or anything in my game package to get the free dlc stuff. Any idea how to get it?

I have put in about 10 hrs on the game today.. And i have to say i like it very much! (I also liked mxgp3 and put in 300+ hrs, so my opinion might not be neutral)
It has it's bugs and flaws, like it gets a error and crashes or that the game freezes in the menu and you have to restart it. It's not a sim, and you can do weird things to go fast, and you can overjump and still ride on. But when you play online you really see that messing up a rythm has alot to say if you're in a battle! Riding bad has consequences.
But the game is so much fun, and with the possibilities that the track creator brings it's a game that will be fun to play for a long time!

And no you cant sign up with a team, but you can do a own championship on an already existing pro rider.

If you're not sure about the game, check it out! There is alot of content on youtube now!
I leave a link to one of my videos showing some 450 career and some online.
I'm top 5 if not #1 on leaderboards (PC) on most of the tracks now (still day 1) so i'm not just casing and overjumping.
