It was bad in the stadium at A1 and it was bad tonight in front of the TV.

First, the 250s should be a full time/full schedule ride.

Then add a east/west 125 two stroke regional series.

Done.

I actually am OK with it; with one small tweak.

I wish they'd maybe allocate slightly less time next time to features, and just a little more interview time. I'd love to have heard interviews first through fifth of each main. I wanted to hear Cole, he had a great ride. I'm sure some of those guys would have great interviews.

Maybe everybody gets fifteen seconds more too or whatever, so Barcia can slow down a little, he's got some extra time.

Way less track time.
Bring back the semis.

I'm cool with the new format. Gets right to the racing. The semis were fluff anyways. They need to eliminate the 250 East/West. Either you are a pro or you're not.

I fucking hate the semis. So glad they are gone. Worthless racing. 2 moto main format is where it’s at. Scored and ran just like the outdoors. One day they will figure this out....

If they insist on keeping it in the stadiums they need to shorten the tv show. Make it back to back heats and LCQ recorded and complete playback of them in time for the live 250 main.

I said it last week, I’m supposed to be going to Atlanta with 10 family and friends that are not fans of the sport but just going to experience the sport I love and I’m embarrassed to introduce them to this. Not even sure I want to go myself!

I agree and have been saying that also. All the heats are pointless and confusing to follow for the new watcher.
Triple crown events will be better i think.

How is it confusing? People are not quite as retarded as you seem to think. Most forms of racing have qualifications. Olympic runner's, sprint cars, etc. You'd have to be pretty fucking stupid to not understand how a qualifier works.

Just got home from NRG, crowd seemed much bigger than last couple years it was here. Track was gnarly, both mains were good....WAY too much downtime......guys that don't like the semis would have stroked out late 70's/early 80's formats :-)

This may be too far since there aren't​ 125's for every manufacturer but in a perfect world this gets my vote for sure.

Definitely need more races. The semis usually weren’t that great, but it was still racing. I’d rather see them do heats, LCQ, and 2 shortened mains for each class. Maybe 10min + 1 lap for 250s, and 15min + 1 lap for 450s. They would probably have enough time to do it in their 3hr slot, but it would mean cutting out all the BS filler stuff and we can’t not have warrior built or makeup to mud!

I'd actually be ok with this, basically replace the semis with another main.

Yamaha does it in Europe. Either way, maybe it's time to stop letting the tail wag the dog. If manufacturers don't want to produce a certain bike, then fine, but they shouldn't get to dictate what a promoter can and can't do.

Jay, i thought i was the only one who thought this was the thinnest field in a long time. Not saying i could do any better just saying in comparison to years passed.

Look at the positives of this shit format, the amount of work you can do around the house while all the fluff is on.

Im hoping this triple crown format isnt any worse.

The program is way to long as it is...I DVR the races, and start watching about an hour or so after the live broadcast starts so I can fast forward the commercials, and all the filler, and the heats and LCQ’s...I just want to watch the main events...

I say keep the format, show highlights of the heats and LCQ’s, and get right to the mains live...with a human interest piece between the mains...one hour show...that would be perfect. (and start the races so that that one hour live broadcasts gets over at a decent hour on the east coast).

Agree, way to much FILLER.

Either bring back the Semi's or shorten up the night by an hour with less breaks between races.

Only good thing is, I can go out in the monring, record the races, came back about an hour before the main and catch up with the heats and LCQ and watch the 450 Main live..

Worked today, so watched when I got home, fast forward everything other than the racing. Now all packed for yearly trip for the next 2 SX races and 4 days riding. Maybe I will start looking at coming over for out door races instead.US$12000 starts adding up for 15 days.

I guess Im the only one that is totally bored by any of the qualifying.

I’d rather there were 10 “elite” teams. 20 pros. Any discplacement. Basically MotoGP with 3 main events back to back to back. 1 hour live TV show. Live stream the practices & timed qualifying for the die hards.

The current broadcast is indeed tedious & long & boring. But adding more trivial races wont fix it. You guys are literally suggesting that they add MORE filler.
