The fact that I didn't see either of the Monster Energy Kawasaki guys in all of the gameplay released is a little concerning. Literally any other rider you could think of is featured...but no tomac or grant. Would be really sad/funny/weird if the MONSTER ENERGY video game had no monster kawi guys.
I thought i saw grant in one of them?

Looks great to me. If the track editor is decent, and they are smart and make this games tracks forward compatible with future new releases as it evolves, this could be a great franchise.

Physics look like shit. Hopefully they are all playing on basic physics and not pro (which still isn't that Impressive but much better than gdubs video..)

I have to agree on a couple of things.

1. The whips/scrubs while not the end of the world by any means, just need changed. Allow a little more freedom with the physics.

2. Sounds, the honda 250f on mxgp3 is close, everything else sounds like shit and simply not close to the mark.

3. Rear brake, I am still baffled that you can't touch a rear brake button in mid air to drop the front end a little and alter it with body mechanics to change how much it drops. Not a difficult thing to do, but in SX it is more important than ever to be smooth.

You can brake tap on gp3 just extremely slow... And useless. Also have to use clutch. You guys seem to never understand the part of the whip problem..... Reflex has patented their whip/Scrubs motion on the sticks. And now alive, and then supercross, and encore...... Get it????

Not that I saw, in that one 5 minute long video with the 4 races, I slowed it down at the start and didn't see Grant or Tomac, the only green bikes I saw were some privateers. But I might be wrong, who knows lol.
Edit: Also, actually thinking about it, I think why they don't have Tomac and Grant in the game yet is because they were using old kawasaki models in the MXGP games. It was actually a pretty big complaint by a lot of people. Maybe they're just waiting to release gameplay with the kawis until they have the 2017 model rendered?

I hate that these racing games are one player.
Same here! There's nothing better than split screen battles with your buddies. I hate how that aspect of mx games has gone away

It's not just with MX games. A lot of games are putting a lot of their effort/focus on online multilayer.

I know the new MX vs. ATV game will have the split screen feature and I'm pretty happy they are bringing it back.

Link to "patent"?

I liked mxgp3, was a lot of fun riding the 2 strokes. They need to figure out how to make the controls control the rider and bike separate however.

Best moto game to be developed in about a decade after only having barrage of absolute shit games, and a majority of you morons will do nothing but complain about it.

This sport will never grow or get the support we want it to when the fans are the biggest reason no one wants a part of it.

The gaming community in general are little bitches. It's not exclusive to MX.

I'm a long time mx video game nerd and my thoughts based on the example videos posted:

- The graphics look stunning. Great job Milestone.

- Ground physics look really good. The turning looks spot on.

- Air physics could use a little tweaking. Jumping looks really floaty. And the pre-animated whip/scrub is archaic compared to the free flowing physics of the MVA series.

I'll definitely be buying it.

Daytona is in this game, it says it in the game description on steam.

4. The wheels turn 1/2 as fast as the forward momentum. Looks like the bike is skidding both wheels. Looks terrible in replays.

Just got back from pre-ordering a few copies for me, my SX/MX game collection and for a couple of buddies. Smile

I know people want different things from there MX/SX games. But for me, this one looks to be everything I've ever wanted in a Supercross game.

Some cool coverage of the new official Monster Energy Supercross game tonight at the MEC. Cool to see it featured on both the pre-race and the broadcast. That is something we can look forward to throughout the season. Great to have an authentic, licensed game that truly represents our sport and that can be legitimately promoted as the official game of Monster Energy Supercross. So friggin' happy about this game!

We also learned a bit more as well.

I found out, thru Ralph pre-race, that he had a nice role in the game. He's worked with Milestone before in the Rossi game so that and with him being the voice of our sport makes total sense and I think is great news! So looks like the voice of Supercross will be in the game in some capacity. He said the game looked amazing and he said I personally would really like the stuff he did for the game.

I know a lot of people give Ralph crap but I love the guy and he has been the voice of our sport for a long time now so adding him to the game just adds more authenticity and Supercross atmosphere. Plus MX games have lacked any kind of commentary and/or race intro or voice over work so this is very welcome. We did get Art and David for EA's games way back in 99/2000 and also had Davey and Cameron do race intros in MTX and Superfly, respectfully. But adding Ralph to the official Supercross video game is perfect. Thumbs up again, Milestone!! Hope we can, eventually, get full commentary with him and Fro in a future iteration.

The footage shown on the MEC broadcast looked great. I especially like when they showed JA21 playing. The rider profile page behind him in one of his interviews looked amazing. And it, like MXGP, just bleeds authenticity. And that is what I want.

Copies pre-ordered. Hope February comes quickly. Or at least A1!!!

Wait let me get this straight.... There's a patent for a code that's "lost"?

Wow, Think they just raised the bar. Looks insane. Track editor? That pretty damn cool.

But but how are they going to sell one copy of this game if it doesn't have atvs, dune buggys, and trophy trucks?

Maybe the atv vs mx game will have lawn mowers and weed eaters, would be pretty cool to prep the track by cutting the grass.

The whips/scrubs in MXGP are not completely canned. In fact, they have gotten much better with each iteration. Are you guys complaining about it not actually playing the game?

The riders do look very stiff in the air but if you're playing in third person, you're doing it wrong in my opinion. These Milestone games should be played in first person with the pro physics and a manual gearbox.
