He did a podcast with Matthes, said he still follows the sport closely and rides pretty regularly and hits the bigger local races. Can any of our resident PNW guys vouch for Smail still ripping??

Wonder if he will show up in mismatched gear like he did when he beat some of the same riders, like brown, back in 89.

That would be so awesome, but brown has to be the favorite. Gets good starts, and is probably in better shape than he was in 89.
