Regardless of all the shit talking dipshits who act as if they've been personally jaded by Izzi, he's there lining up and ready to race. You've heard all the Izzi drama and how he fucked this dude over, did this drug, or whatever, but you know what, it's never affected me personally so I could give a shit. All that matters is that he's trying to get his program together and he's racing. Much more than you most of you keyboard jockeys.

It's OK, you can take a break from being a try hard douchebag.
My program is together because I never fucked it up. Just because our "programs" may not be racing it doesn't mean people here haven't been successful. Make all the excuses you want but Nico has been doing this for years. He is making a comeback then messes it up then gets arrested again. Like I said earlier, same story different year.

That's not saying I don't wish him the best. I would love to see him get his shit together and succeed.

Hopefully he has a better weekend than his last attempt to race Atlanta. What a shit show. I guess I have to give him props for having the balls to show up and line up. It could be a good story if he can turn it around, but at this point, you just kind of expect some bizarre story following the weekend.

More than a couple I believe. Saw him win a bunch at Ponca in 04

You both aren't. I also don't want to see people fail. I'd like to see him get a good result and maybe that will help him get out of this life slump that he's in.

Wishing 3D Racing and Nico good luck today.

I talked to the team owner at St Louis and he told me Nico has been clean for quite some time. Good for Nico and his hard work staying clean.

BTW I loved the Orange wheels and graphics so much I made them Orange Y hoses.

With the Orange rim color you can easily spot the bike out on the track.

Any other bikes under the 3D Racing awning? Looks like two number 341s in the photo.

I'm pretty sure that KTM is just pitting with them. 3D Racing is a Yamaha team. The 144 KTM is Nicolas Rolando and it looks like he's originally/from Uruguay .

Rolando is #144, and he's on the 450 entry list which says he's racing an RMZ, and he's from the Phillipines. From what I understand about the 3D operation, the riders are generally required to contribute to the team financially. It's not uncommon for foreign riders to end up under the 3D awning, and Featherstone was racing out of the rig for Supercross. Apparently Brooks departed last summer as the result of some financial controversy relating to repair and maintenance costs.

There always seems to be a ton of intelligent people on here so I'm gonna ask a question Ive always wanted an answer to. Should the statement read , I could care less, or I couldn't care less. Most people say, I could care less. When I hear it I always think. " You could care less, or you couldn't care less?

If you "couldn't care less" you are at the absolute bottom of the "caring" scale. If you could care less, then you must have some measurable amount of care which would be susceptible to decreasing down to the level where you "couldn't care less." That's my take based on a literal interpretation.

That's well written. And that's exactly the way I interpreted the saying. But , I always hear people saying "I could care less". I leave the conversation wondering if that person truly could or could not care less?

Solid 25th place for Nico.

When people say. "I could care less" they always leave off the "but I don't" just like the people that always say "i can't thank xyz, abc, and 123" and always leave off the "enough"

Everyone here knows the crap this kid has gotten himself into over the past few years. I think it's a very positive sign that he finished 2 30min +2 laps on a rutted track on a pretty hot day. To me that means he has cleaned out his system and gotten himself back into much better condition than last we had heard. Sure he effed up royally but it's always nice when someone doesn't quit and give up. Racing/finishing a outdoor national is not a easy task

Free English lesson; when you say "I could care less", you are wrong. The correct phrase is "I couldn't care less". Think about it. If you COULD care less, that means you still care. If you couldn't care less, that means you don't care. Write this down.

Props to Nico for gettin' after it. Going to jail is not easy. It takes a lot of mental toughness to put that behind you and move forward.

I agree, he has the potential to be top 15 towards the end of the season. Lets see how quickly he progresses.

X2 To be able to finish two full motos in 94+ degree weather says a lot about him making an honest attempt to return to the sport he loves. He's got to be in good shape to do that. Congrats Nico.

I think he was running top 15 for a bit? Finishing was a good place to build from.

He was up in mass practicing for a few weeks last month. One day it was just myself, Nico and two other people. He was putting down some good motos in the sand and looking fast. He then took at least an hour or more to go out on the track and work with this kid on an 85. Teaching him corners and giving him tips on the jumps and then riding with the kid.
Walking back through the pits he asked how I was doing and I asked if he was racing the nats to which he replied he was going to try and do all of them. I wished him luck, he genuinely thanked me and laughed about having to race back into shape. Seemed to be doing well to me.

Have always been a fan of Izzi and Stroupe. I hope that both get back to being clean and sober and whatever they end up doing it works out for them. I witnessed what drugs can do to a person and for anybody that can beat addiction then I'm all for them.

It looks like he's quietly putting in the time and work. We all know he has talent, lets hope he puts a full season under his belt.

I watched him carefully, especially in the final laps of the 2nd moto. He seemed very smooth and efficient, not fighting it. It was hot and rough as Hell.
