And RedBull would never sign off on that monochromatic logo treatment.

Let me tell you why I think this bike is for real.

1: All the branding for the manufacturer is removed as JS7 didn't get any help, and he's not wanting to promote them.
2: He called and got help from Showa, therefore he has their decal and expensive Showa kit on the bike
3: He is still a Seven and RedBull athlete therefore has the logo's to show it.
4: Being an owner of the Seven brand he cannot afford to lose his number.

I think he will try and earn the points to keep his brand and number going. Maybe he phoned the AMA to ask for special permission to keep it and they said not without 25 points and he now had to put something together.

Speculation, but if that bike had more branding I would tend to think it is fake, because it has so little branding I tend to think it's for real. Not sure where he is riding it, but I think he's riding it somewhere for sure.

The "7" on the jersey looks like the logo for his Seven brand to me.

He's not running the US factory team exhaust, but Bobryshev runs the FMF exhaust too. What's up with the airbox mod? And it still has a kickstarter, unlike a factory bike. That bike looks great. Hope he races it.

No doubt he has a had a 2017 Honda with Showa suspension for sometime. I doubt James is done but he might only race Monster cup and Red Bull later this year. Would love to see him show up at a couple of nationals but highly doubt it. Also just to see a interview hopefully soon would be highly refreshing. Anybody think this could be a bike that Malcolm could be riding soon also ?
