#Afterpartygate: I understand why Monster didn't want him in the party. Joking or not, Steve has been very critical of their marketing decisions. It was a private party, not a public event. Steve saying he did a favor for Josh Hill by having him on to discuss the Alta is not accurate. As a loyal listener I wanted to hear about the Alta program. Josh was a great guest, he brought value to the show. I hope Steve doesn't start having exclusively guests who like him on the show, that would bore me to death. Steve would be cutting off his nose to spite his face. Bring on the Nationals! Steve should invite DirtShark and Hill on the show to "bury the beef".

Water under the bridge, Matthew didn't care why should anyone else. IMO getting all butt hurt and kicking him out just makes you look guilty of said accusations. Corporations don't have feelings.

Company hosted party.
Guy who shits on company gets denied entrance to said companies party.
Vital loses its shit.

Gotta love weekends without races.

I really hope Josh's brother does not make the same career / life decisions that he did. I got to spend some time with Justin in the Vegas pits. Talked about his music videos and congratulated him on his championship. Seems like a great kid with a bright future.

Was your "mountain of french toast" "snowcapped"?

Aside from the obvious backflip attempt, Josh has had a very respectable career and now has a gig most people would dream of. Seems like a solid life decision to me...

Christ I just wasted three minutes reading this thread.

Do anyone really care if some fat guy that lives in an apartment in Las Vegas gets into a party in Murrieta? Really?

If it's a private party, not sure what the big deal is. If this was a public event, this would warrant more attention.

reading these replies is pretty funny, Matthes had said numerous times that it wasn't a big deal so clearly he didn't lose any sleep over it. I think Josh just had his panties in a bunch, from what was said clearly he had a few drinks in him. I wonder if he would have acted the same if he was sober, maybe Matthes comments hit to close to home....lol

It's probably not to far of a stretch to think that it could happen.

I would never accept a job offer from Monster.

I also get the feeling that Josh is somewhat insecure about his career. When he was on Pulp he was going on about how he was always faster than Dungey and could have been a champion if he didn't get injured. The way I remember it, they both turned pro in 2007 and Dungey always had Josh's number.

Sounds like from his version you gave him plenty of chances to apologize and from what how he said it went down most would've done the same as you - your good. No explanation needed. That being said I love Matthes work and hope you guys patch this up

Always interested to hear a smart guy his opinion, pity that lacks here.

You're a fucking dick, people like you are what is wrong with the world. You post while sitting on your fatass with less talent in your whole body than Josh has in his left nut, and you want to judge him. He was young and on top of his game, trying to earn his place in moto history. It didn't turn out well at all, and it's a huge bummer. But to throw this out there as ammo is just low, if you had even half a conscience you'd delete your post.

I am completely indifferent towards this whole TMZ thing, but this is just stupid and classless.
