Circa 1971 - Was on the back of a Yamaha 175 coming home from watching the start of the Barstow to Vegas race. Hit my uncles dog in the street in front of his house in Yermo.



Though my parents would never let me get a bike after that. I was relentless and got this the next year (here being ridden by my pops)

I've got older pictures of me at my parents place but I just happened to find this amongst a bunch of junk last weekend. I must have been around 9 or 10 years old here, after stepping off a PW80 this YZ80 scared the shit out of me at first.

I'm not sure what's worse, the lack of boots/goggle, those hideous pants, or my dads terrible photography skills!

82 KX80, the oldest pic I could find.
Still had my school clothes on (except boots and helmet of course), so it must have been right after school. Everyday I would come home and head straight back out the the desert. Styling with a sweet watch on too...
