I have taken to racing Post Vintage motocross and cross countries lately on my 1980 yz 465 and 1981 yz 250.

Race Senior A. Have an 05 crf 450 Honda. Old but still plenty of bike for me!

Retired member of Dirt Diggers North MC, promoters of the Hangtown Motocross Classic. Still run the start line.

Got hooked racing Class 11 offroad "stock" VW bugs the last couple years. With age comes a cage!

Im a General Contractor by trade.

I love my wife, two daughters and my son.

The truth of it at Hangtown is there was simply not enough time to fix the ruts in front of the gate. We are pushed down to the minimums with track maintenance. With live tv it is very limited time. You got to acclimate to the heat. There was not that chance to do that before this race. I did not hear a single complaint from some of the best athletes on the planet. So was the right call.

Top five in the last eleven motos goes way beyond persona value. They're both very likeable riders, but that's meaningless to this choice. If Tomac goes any combination of 1-2-3 next weekend, then he should be in the conversation. Other than that, the MX results just aren't there to even consider him right now.

I not only have more confidence in AP, I’d prefer to NOT send Eli to a fast-ass outdoor MXGP event until he’s got more seat time. Furthermore, AP2024 sure as hell ain’t comparable to previous AP Editions. This is NOT a static situation.

If we send Tomac one of his moto scores will be the one we end up dropping. Crazy not to send AP7 especially when he would never turn down an opportunity to represent Team USA, definitely can not say the same about Tomac.
