BS261 Started a new thread Is that overspray?
12/15/2017 4:17pm Silver overspray on the rear wheel of this "restored" Ossa? Seems like pretty shoddy workmanship to me. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-Other-Makes-Ossa-Phantom/272983380319?has…

BS261 Added a reply to Monster / 30sec Card Girls
12/14/2017 1:53pm I agree as well. I'm looking at the way it portrays supercross, and the way Monster Energy portrays the girls...slutty. Plenty of other opportunities to look at beautiful women. Lots of vitards will flame me and others for that opinion but I'm secure enough in my manhood...zero fucks given.

BS261 Added a reply to Another 1978 YZ 250 question
6/19/2017 2:58am I'm looking at a Cycle Magazine test of the 78 YZ250, they're saying the first one they tested had a 380 main jet, with the timing set at 2.5 mm BTDC, and a second test bike had a 370 main jet, set at 1.8 mm BTDC and that one dyno tested much better. Hope that helps.
BS261 Started a new thread It's not exactly On Any Sunday, but...
6/8/2017 4:58pm As a 14 year old sitting in the theater watching blaxploitation movie Cleopatra Jones, this part stayed with me long after the movie was over, for several reasons. Ahem. Apologies for the low quality of this clip, I couldn't find it on Youtube so I recorded it with my camera off the DVR. Enjoy anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJeI22sKVOE&feature=youtu.be

BS261 Added a reply to Torn Labrum in Mx
4/7/2017 4:42pm It's true, a torn labrum won't heal on it's own. I injured mine water-skiing (it's OK to let go of the rope, stupid!) and lived with it for 6 months hoping it would get better on it's own. Finally got arthroscopic surgery and was back to work in 6 weeks. I had to do some therapy to get my strength...

3/1/2017 1:44pm Your attention to detail is amazing. So, the rims. I want to do the same at some point, replace the rims but keep the stock hubs. Does anyone make rims that can replace the old ones with no drilling?

3/1/2017 3:16am Really nice work! Love the new rims and the decals on the fender are a nice touch. Where you happy with the quality of the rear fender? Ebay has a lot of choices for fork boots.

1/18/2017 2:31am My bad on the handlebar, the original part # 1W1-26111-03-00 is still available. Not sure why Babbitt's has a replacement part #.

1/16/2017 3:00am You can still buy the stock bars, (2A8-26111-00-00) Partzilla and a few others have them. I'm guessing they're not the exact bend as the originals as a replacement part number is being used but I'll bet it's damn close. I'm buying some next week, we'll see. Good luck with your build, I'm in the process of doing one myself. If...

BS261 Added a reply to Weird stamp on YZ frame. Thoughts?
11/23/2016 4:22pm That was my guess, someone in a YZ Facebook group suggested that gusset wasn't stock and thought it was a customized job. I only have the 250 frame for comparison and it doesn't have that, but I assumed the 400 frame was beefed up a little from the factory. Previous owner ID sounds more plausible to me, next time I...
