Silver overspray on the rear wheel of this "restored" Ossa? Seems like pretty shoddy workmanship to me.

I actually think its a reflection from the overhead lights, but East Coast Vintage does do shoddy work.

"complete cosmetic restoration" is their way of saying we polished a turd. They buy bikes and flip them while putting in the least amount of dollars possible. Lots of threads on Vital about them. If you want an overpriced project bike that still needs to be sorted out these would be your guys.

It seems like they are starting to reveal the true condition of the bikes.....lol. Basically a true description of everything they "restore"

1980 Montesa 414MX

Front fork lowers cracked - kickstarter welded - rattle can restoration - non running bike - only one for sale in existence that I know of.......

Let's appraise it with a $1.00 starting bid.

the thing is, east coast vintage gets sought after old bikes, and i bet he could turn a profit by leaving them alone, what he does make them worth less than untouched, he ruins good examples of old sweetheats
