It has to be James. That way he can hate that bike also.

Agreed. The guys's a monster starter and is plenty aggressive. He hasn't been off the grind too long either, probably still rides every day KR & Seely do. I'll say that with 2-3 weeks bootcamp training, he'd to top-ten consistently. the only think that would hold him back would be the chance of another concussion.

What do you think?
I thinking he's got to convince someone a lot more important than anyone at Honda; and, I'm thinking she's says, "No!".

Also, I think that Andrew's next appearance on a Honda -racing- may be south of the border...maybe WAY SOUTH.

Im not sure about all the Stewart dislike on here.
I think a change might get a spark going in Stewart and get him motivated.
Everyone throws out Deans name, but is hard on Stewart for missing races. What the heck??? How much has Dean been hurt the last couple years.
And I hate to say it as much as I like Suzukis, but I had to stop buying them base on I was constantly crashing them. They seem fairly jinxed with Bubba also.
Plus everyone thinks James is fairly old and washed up based on he has been around forever, but he isn't! And he has more natural born talent to ride a dirt bike than probably anybody has ever had (except for maybe JMB .)

Curious do you guys REALLY THINK AFTER ABOUT 3 WEEKS OF TRAINING that Dean, Malcolm, Brayton, Noren or anybody would actually give Honda better results than James?????
If so I sure don't agree you you!

Norén is improving in supercross (made SD main on a 250) and is a natural choice because he has so much experience with the team. Probably not a top 10 SX guy though.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they bring up Jmart if the next race goes badly too. He's not in it for 2nd and his title chances are slipping away.
Could potentially be a top 10 guy and he's bound for 450 after SX.

Brayton has factory support already and is right now basically HRC pitting out of the Motoconcepts rig. Easy transition, steady consistent guy with the right experience.

Shorty could come out of retirement for a few races. It hasn't been too long since he quit racing so it's possible. He wouldn't want a full season though which is what Honda needs so that's why I think it's unlikely.

No way JS7. MS47 or DW15. 0% chance

My guess is:
-Seely only in SX
-Martin joins Seely for outdoors.

This gives HRC an early test drive with JM6.

You're probably right re: outdoors.
Still believe SX will be Seely only.
Honda isn't likely worried about a cash-burn.

Roczen will be back in time for outdoors, based on his injury.

If Roczen can sign autographs in the SX pits, no need for another rider. PR is half the game. Though I would like to see Martin ride the 450 during the East Coast rounds as for the reasons already stated.

I see Brayton over Noren, Brayton is on an HRC 17 model. But, Honda does like Noren and he gave them great results last time he filled in. Either one would be a solid fit and give the results Honda wants.
I just dont see noren being consistently in the main event. I dont think a factory 450 will do it for noren in sx, outdoors is a different story. I see wilson holding out for something with yamaha, as i think factory yamaha will put him on the team for outdoors since they only have webb outdoors. If honda offered him the ride for the rest of the year, thatd be different. I think brayton would be the best bet, if MCR will let that happen cause he does have a contract with them.

-dean is hungry af. dont ever denigrate that mans drive. JS is training? the consensus is he didnt last year. whats changed this year?
-re suzuki, what adjustments did you make before you threw in the towel?
-why can't JS7's unsurmountable pools of talent keep him off the ground?
-concussions...your analysis?

All you guys recommending retired riders like Haan and Short are tipped! Roczen is out for then entire 17 season you can stamp that. Honda will put a second rider on the bike, if history serves us, Noren will get a call.

I'd like to see Deano get it, he's had a tough run and I think he'd get some consistent top 10 finishes with the odd top 5 with a bit of luck.

I like Deano too, but honda already knows and likes Noren. Good chance he gets the call. Sucks roczen will miss outdoors too.

Don't see Dean on the bike if I'm honest.

Obviously he's expressed an interest in getting a fill in ride, but with Yamaha helping him with bikes/ minor support and him expected to be on the factory team for outdoors, I don't see him taking up the Honda gig.

I'd more be thinking that with Bam Bam another week or two away, perhaps Weimer could hit up the Honda crew. He's the top rider available for most of the season.

With Shorty on the list, I've heard on the rumor mill that Kdub and the Rock are also..

I'm just hoping any rider gets it, it's a huge opportunity for someone, and that's always fun to see.

Have to get ML to clarify, but I do believe Weimer is still an RCH employee on loan to JGR. I could be completely wrong though
