Have you ever felt that a certain task is below you or not worth your time in terms of hassle? Anything? Ever delegate or relinquish a responsibility to another for your own benefit and peace of mind? I'm glad as fuck to let someone in management or an owner make decisions on staff, or branding, color scheme, location etc if it's something I won't have to deal with.

The ability to run something top down is one thing. The necessity of it is another.

Why do you think major corporations have the structure they do in management? Delegating responsibility and compartmentalizing tasks makes everyone's life easier and more successful if done properly, employing peoples specific talents as an advantage.
