When Mattress sends out the hate it means he doesn't feel relevant.

Thanks again for dinner TG!
I was really stoked to see you at A1. That's a long journey for ya. I hope the ROI is there based on all those teams you're supporting.

Bye the way...I think the men's room at The Catch is still being "Remodeled"...you might not wanna go there for a while.

I'm jus' sayin'...

How is it that I got in your head enough for you to go all 8th grade on your phone?

Meanwhile...yes, I'm still smiling like these 2 guys. One of whom (or both) should have been farther up on your list of Influential Peeps. But, I digress...

What the hell were you doin being all positive and stuff at a BBQ

Wow, that's a nasty and rather vague complaint on Mr Matthes part. Wonder if he'd be wiling to explain?
What's to explain John, how do you even rationalize that? Hence my post. Is he desperate to be relevant again?
Yeah Andy, it appears to me he's got a problem with being positive but that would make no sense so you might have hit on something there.

Matthes seems like good dude, but saying things to peoples faces has become a lost art.

You be you Manny.

You've flamed me on some comments before.....even though I think most would agree with me.

You know the guys personally, so obviously you have a different perspective. I get that. You're very close to situations and that changes your take on things. Do we agree on everything? No way. Do I respect your perspective and opinions? Sure do.

May be wise for Matthes to do a little understanding as well.

Steve can be a little school girl sometimes about anyone who differs from his opinion. When he posted about his new ridgeline on instagram and everyone tried explaining to him it wasn't actually a truck (unibody) he started deleting the posts one by one. Don't get me wrong, enjoy the show, what he does and the insight, but not always the most professional/well tempered guy. Berlutti though, love that dude. Wasn't really a fan of Kenny though either. Can't please everyone in this world.

TeamGreen? The dude is like EF Hutton, when he speaks, people listen. He has helped out more riders then anyone that has ever posted here, he has the ear of more than one team manager. What does he do? He makes stuff happen.

I love TeamGreen, but the biggest thing I love about him is the check I will be cashing from him at the end of the season.

My bad: I go off on anyone from MI that doesn't have a picture of Jake Marsack at Daytona in 2008 for their Avi.

Maybe it's more to do with living in Cal, and not being buried to your ass in snow, and -30 degree temps. Not that you would know about that, Scott. Tongue

As for more blatantly positive posting...

Here's tomorrow's rides prepped, loaded and ready for The Long Loop. Anyone notice the Ol' School CRF..?

Literally just finished reading Jody's Box (Feb./'17) and then stepped into this. How timely. Steve, be sure to read it.

Long before the days of Twitter or Instagram, us up and comers, maybe Rick Ryan, and Manny would go to a little garage (almost every Tues. in South San Jose) and get some help on our bikes from a genius local mechanic.

As here, Manny stood out and was kind of like a big brother to us. We all had egos a mile wide, but some were a little more visible and that's a good thing.

Those were fond memories and the closest thing I've found online to that mid to late 80's garage is right here on Vital. Glad Manny's here and is on his game!

Wow

That got to me.

Jon Stoodley is like a dad to me; but, you know that.

Thank you for reminding me of how it all started. I remember making my own (and the very 1st) JSE decals for my '82 KX125 that Jon prepped so well that the folks from Kawasaki took a good hard look at it and even took measurements from my pipe (Lorretta's 1982). Jon made us feel like Factory Riders.

Mold this, Machine that...it's all the same. Cure that...anneal this...solution treat that...it's all about weight and strength.

And...it's all FUN.
