a green leaf instead of the claw on the shrouds?
It would be a helluva a lot better for you!
That's the truth!

It's like some of you have never seen the short film "Reefer Madness".

Weedmaps is a website. They don't manufacture or directly sell any products.

Is weed seriously a big deal still?
It is for those self righteous types that have still never actually tried it.

Will Feld allow it? It's been 25 years or so that alcohol and tobacco were banned as title sponsors. I also don't see how a company with 18 mil in revenue can afford the Stewarts since money is their primary motivator for racing.

Considering the same guy who signed james and malcolm to their DC deal is the same guy signing people at WM I wouldn't be surprised.

Cocaine grows naturally. Skinny horny chicks instead of stinky dorito eating fatties with sweat and smegma.

Big fan of weed here, but just cannot see it happening.

I know that no one had a choice in the tobacco ban, but I would think it's about not promoting certain image perceptions, regardless of origin of sale or manufacture.

Amen to that.
Change is long overdue...

It hasn't been that long, the difficulty is all the riders on the team have to be 21+.

Alright Im out. I honestly dont care, just saying there might be a big hurdle to get over considering precedence. But, it appears to be moot anyway as its currently happening. More power to them as the sport needs support help.

I'd be really surprised to see them show up on a Weedmaps bike. If they got the sponsorship, I would imagine the AMA would squash it pretty quick. They won't be seen promoting weed to the younger demographic.

Weed: Grows => Picked => Dried => Consumed
Cocaine: Grows => Picked => Add Lime => Add Gasoline => Add Acetone => Add Cutting Agent => Consumed

I know. I've got 2 legal shops less than a mile from my house. Around here in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA people are like, "Uh yeah. No big deal."

My take on it: it just would not be a good look for the only guy to be suspended thus far for PED's to enter this season with a sponsor related to weed. Now, before you say anything, yes, I realize adderall is not the same as weed. I also realize there are plenty of people who don't have an issue with weed now. And yes, I realize it's really not that big of a deal. All I'm saying is it's just probably not the greatest idea from an image standpoint based on his previous infraction. Also, just to make sure i'm covering all my bases, I also realize there are polarizing views on how his suspension was handled by the promoters, and people don't like WADA/USADA, yada yada yada, blah blah blah. All that stuff has already been argued and worn out already.

I get the association but if you're more worried about people judging you because of the stickers on your bike than how you act on and off the track you're doing it wrong.

Granted if you rolled up with a Swastika front and center it might be a harder symbol to shine brighter than this:

Yep, no arguments there. I don't disagree with you one bit about people judging it or not. That being said, people will. Now whether that would bother James and Mookie or not, I have no idea.

The guy who started it already sold it for crazy money. He's friends with some of my friends...
I think he might still be working for them as part of the sale, but I'm not sure about that.

Can't let that shit bug you, ya know. Best way to deal with any judgement is to just be a professional, work hard, and let your results do all the talking.

That said – if I was working at WeedMaps and saw Stewart coming back to racing overweight, undertrained, and pulling out off for blisters I'd be a bit afraid of what that would do to my brand image.

What interests me most is the ad with Bereman. As an athlete regulated under WADA he has to report his location at all times to WADA for random testing. If he is in an ad seen smoking what is assumed to be weed I could see WADA quickly showing up for a "random" test. Could just be a regular nicotine vape for an ad but it's curious.

For an industry that uses sex to market everything from energy drinks to wheel hubs to any part whatsoever you can find on a dirt bike, it should not be a big deal. Why is a leaf immoral but creating rabid sexual appetites in young people for profit is perfectly acceptable. Wink
