I just rewatched it to make sure I didn't miss anything and it looked like the closest they came to each other was Friese shutting the door on him entering the sand (which any racer would do) other than when Peick drove it in on him in the last turn.

Rubbing in the corners of a tight Supercross track is to be expected and perfectly acceptable. Cross jumping ....uh, no, not acceptable.

You have to be kidding? The kid came from nowhere to get a factory ride and battle with the sports best. You guys need reality checks. I was at the race live, and I saw freise cross jump him over the triples at least twice. That shit happened. I would want to pop a sucker in the mouth for that too.

He should've cleaned him out, looked like he had a few opportunities.

Peick tells it like it is and friese rides like a douche. Watch any rider who starts behind him and how they ride around Vince.

Even Kevin Windham parked friese in the past. The real good guys don't talk. They let what happens on the track speak

Weston Peick to Steve Matthes, January 07, 2017.

Peick: "..."

Matthes: "The semi race, we thought we were going to see another... some aggressive racing."

Peick: "...Yeah, you know, the semi was ridiculous. Like, I got a bad start, caught my way up, made multiple passes, and then I got behind Friese and he just starts looking back, sees me, fucking idiot's cross jumping me left and right, like, almost cleaning us both out and then the last turn before the finish line, I could have fuckin just snapped his femur, but I was like, you know, it's..."

Matthes: "That's what I was gonna ask you, looks like you could have ran it in a little harder..."

Peick: "Yeah, I could have, I could have fuckin ended his, his career, but uhh...

Matthes: "Did you think about that suspension last year, and all that?"

Peick: "Yeah, I just, I figured I have to race with the piece of shit all season, so I was like, you know, I'm not gonna start this off at A1, and, and start it off on a bad foot. So, I just had some words with him after, telling him that he's an idiot rider and he doesn't know how to keep a straight line. So, it is what it is, and we finished A1 actually racing and not sitting on the sidelines, so...

Matthes: "..."

What do you think about the animosity between Peick and Friese? Whose side do you take? How does it make you feel?

I understand some peeps like his MMA/meathead attitude but his comments right here is why I would have never spent $ on Peick. First of all, stuck behind Friese? with the money JGR spends on him? On a Factory Suzuki?! For real?

Even at the pick of the fight between Stanton/JMB and Bradshaw or Bradshaw and Matiasevich or Chad and JS7, never they spoke like that in the media, even Hannah who's was not one to hold his opinion would have said stuff like that in public. Those guys were smart enought.

Pretty sad that he believes that he'll be racing Friese all season, not sure JGR and Suzuki are expecting that.

jeffro503 wrote:
Actually Hannah said exactly that , but worse! He said he tried to break Howerton's leg. Among a bunch of other stuff throughout the years.
Wow Jeffro- I never heard about Hannah saying he would break someone's leg. You got any other cool stories?

Holy Shit! This place!! For fuck sake
I'm not exactly a fan of Pieck but that interview made me laugh and no of course we didn't hear Hannah say it how often was he interviewed compared to riders these days? and was it ever by dudes like Matthes? That is prob more of a peer than journalist which is why he gets the good stuff.. I don't think Weston would have said that to DC or Guyb, not that those guys don't get the good stuff haha just maybe the more professional official stuff.. Plus it goes straight up on the net.. Some of you guys seem so scared of swear words
And as far as Friese owning Peick that shit is hilarious just infuriated by the way he rides

Peick should let his riding do the talking. And anyone who cross jumps on him should hear his riding speak loud and clear.

Did you forget Reed caught Weston at A1 and ended up with a DNF thanks to an over aggressive pass attempt? Is the sky blue in the imaginary world you live in?

Just IMO.... it's ok to ride a wide bike if you are pretty much the same speed as the guys behind you... it is a dick move when you ride a wide bike when the guy behind you is significantly faster..... once again, just IMO...

On the other hand... WP needs to quit bitching and get better starts... it is after all WP's own fault that he has to pass Freeze all the time...

its not about being squeaky clean, its about having some respect...does he think teams and sponsors like that kind of mouth? I dont expect him to quote the bible or sings everyones praises or do handistands but I do expect a professional way of speaking.

Dude , don't get me wrong. I fuggin' dig Chad ,and his skill set is one of the best on the track. He may even be a tad faster than Weston right now , but then again who knows? I think each track will let them decide who is the faster guy that night. My reply was more towards the guy saying " Chad has way more talent than Weston. " I know full well Chad is super talented , but speed on the race track , he is not head and shoulders above Weston. If they both stay healthy this entire season , you'll see what I'm talking about. BTW....I didn't see the contact between Weston and Chad , so I can't comment on how everything went down.

Takes the bait cast by the media and goes deep-----exactly one year after he put his JGR gig in jeopardy.

I like to see/hear some character from riders in interviews, but I think Peick went a little overboard in some of the things he said. He could've made his point differently

To be honest, I don't think his words will effect anything with Jgr. They picked barcia and peick to ride for them. Enough said

So do some of the members here. There are a couple of them missing, and a lot of trash taken out.
