Top 3 "must visit" tracks in Southern California?

Have to travel to California for work sometime in January and can possibly extend my stay for a day or two. Would be a very good opportunity to visit a track or two that I won't otherwise get to visit. Any thoughts on tracks not to be missed?

Am thinking of using one of these bike rental/setup outfits for the trip:

My two favorites:
Glen Helen
LACR
Don't really have a 3rd, maybe Cahuilla?

Where are you staying. Zaca, Cahuilla, Comp Edge... Milestone is open everyday so its the easiest to fit into a schedule

I went to Glen Helen / Elsinore / Pala / Milestone when i was in SoCal few months ago. I didn't ride though only watched. All legendary places to me was awesome to see them in person Woohoo

Depends on what type of riding you like to do, also. Glen Helen for true motocross, got to be fit to have fun. Milestone good for just taking it easy, but lots of jumping. Lacr is sand, cahuilla sandy, some jumps,. Pala main track really for advanced, but vet track is 'fun'. Perris for evening ride. Comp is high desert, fun stuff as long as not too windy.

Perris & Milestone for sure. Elsinore has a cool "intermediate" track, but if it is over-watered and you ride a 2t 250 it feels like an ice track... no traction!

Are your riding or watching? Either way, yoiu need to have GH as number one. Cahuilla would be a close second for riding, but spectating not that great there unless you park up top (do they still allow that?) Third would be a toss up between Milestone and Pala

My thoughts on the honors....
Best Dirt: Cahuilla Creek
Biggest Jumps / Fastest Layout: Pala
Most Convenient: Milestone
Overall Coolest and Most Badass: Glen Helen

Haven't been to a couple of these in a while though, so my opinion may be warped.

Glen Helen was on the top of my list, but it looks like they're closed on Sundays (unless the website is incorrect). My work trip is to the Bay Area so I'll fly to whatever is easiest fastest (LAX/Ontario/???) from there.

I always considered it central cal, but I guess there is no CenCal.

Glen Helen - a true National Track, and it has lots of fun elevation changes.

Pala Raceway - it is run very well and has lots of options, from peewees right up to pros.

Cahuilla - great dirt, more natural layout.

Go with Dave at MX Vacations. You'll stay down at Lake Elsinore and his bikes are late model good units. Dave is a character

Tell him WFO from Penciltucky told you he's the best in Socal.

Pala.
Glenn Helen
Milestone.

If I had to pick three:
1. Glen Helen
2. Pala main track is great condition any day you go.
3. Milestone shapes up fairly well

Another one you may want to check out is 212 Land. Reminds me a bit of Cahuilla, but with better dirt, better prep, and is just all around more fun. Takes a bit of planning as its a far drive and winds tend to hit pretty hard down there.

In my opinion Perris is just boring, and Elsinore is well.. Elsinore.

I don't currently live in So Cal. But born and raised there. If you are dirt bike enthusiast, and have never ridden in the wide open desert, I think its a must do. Hit up Soggy Dry lake and ride from the dry lake to the dunes just east.

For me: Zaca Station, Chaney Ranch, and Pala... 212 Land for fourth.

ML-He'll never be able to do Chaney. You know that.

Zaca/ Cahuilla/ Glen Helen (only because everyone has heard of it.)

You might not be able to arrange riding at Zaca as it's a hike.

I'd recommend Pala only because it has so much to offer and both CMH and MXV go there.

LACR is fun but you'll get the same experience with a better view at Cahuilla.

Fly into Ontario, get a hotel in Temecula and you're 30ish min to Cahuilla, 30ish min to Pala, and an hour from GH depending on traffic.

You should definitely check Racesocal.com. They have fleet of new 450 Honda, but in premium option they have all the brands and also two strokes. The bikes are in really good shape (at least when I rode with them in October).

As far as tracks go:
- Glen Helen
- Pala
- Comp Edge

I haven't rode in Zaca yet, so that is in my bucket list.

Pala and Cahullia are great and close to the place where you will be renting your bike. LACR is my next favorite if they come up north more. Zaca is my hands down favorite but it's very far if you are in the Inland Empire.
