Im in the same boat... Not as fast as the OP, but a decent Vet Int and bought a low hour yz 125 that already had the athena 144. It runs decent but I planned on sending it to max rpm for a 167. Thats a bad idea?

You must not be going to the same SX races that I do... People who I see riding at the track I would mostly agree with you, solid people. But at any given SX race I am never super impressed with the 'gene pool,' only there to get hammered, see some sick crashes, and try to start their own UFC...
