Jake flew down to Tasmania yesterday so maybe he has started working already for NPE who sponsor the race team but also from what I am led to believe guaranteed him a job after racing. Matt has been very quiet on social media since it all went down but he is also expecting his first child shortly.

Also Oldmate (Greg Moss) stating that he didn't know and would find out and ask the boys when he gets home from overseas I find very hard to believe with technology these days and finding out your kids tested positive (allegedly) to something he would be straight onto finding out what the hell is going on.

Heard today that they were taking something that was given to them by their trainer which helps the body recover quicker between races giving them more energy for race 2 or minor injuries for example. Only speculation but this came from a team member of one of the other teams

If that's the case, the HGH rumor might be accurate

So you're saying they took something that their "trainer" gave them that could help enhance their performance?

HGH is completely different. From what I was told it was a type of muscle relaxer that minimizes the fatigue on the body and helps your recovery.

I was only speculating on the previous claims of what was mentioned. But based on the recovery aspect, HGH seemed possible. Not saying it was though because I obviously don't have any idea what they are doing. What do you mean HGH is completely different?

in all seriousness its not that hard to find. Just takes some coin.

I shelled out $170 for a bottle of HGH when I was about 19 or 20. I felt like I had more energy when I used it. My brother has taken Deer Antler Velvet (the same brand Ray Lewis used) and he liked it a lot. He bought several bottles, though I don't believe he has had any for about 2 years. Dropping that kind of money racks up quickly, especially when you are just using it for the heck of it.

A few years ago Sly Stallone said he expects HGH to be acceptable in the future and that everyone will be taking because of the benefits that can be seen from it... whether that ever happens or not we will see.

Wtf are any of them getting paid that they could justify it, financially - I'd assume it's not cheap or at least someone administering it isn't, the risk, the harm or the potential gain.
First off I don't know nothing about this case, so see this as a comment in General:

Im not sure why to be surprised even with no or limited money to be made.
50 year old "masters" cyclist get popped for epo, your typical fitness/gym has s bunch of guys who use stuff just for looks, and you have half the club on xtc for fun.

In such a culture I am not shocked when a semi pro Mx rider uses something to increase stamina etc

This mis information about HGH here is mind boggling.

HGH doesnt come in a bottle per se. It comes in a kit. And most couldn't afford it in this sport at a dose high enough to matter. And they would need to like to take shots every day or even twice a day if they are serious. And its expensive. Especially Pharm grade. And Chinese shit guys use 2-3 times the amount of Pharm grade because they have no idea if its real, fake or something else.

Even a 4 UI 1 time shot of GH between motos isn't going to be all OH yeah Im ready for moto 2 now. Thats not long enough for the receptors to even acknowledge it's there.
And HGH isn't an upper like speed.
Alot accused Stew of GH at first. And they were wrong.

HGH taken continuesly over time would imcrease your body mass up from what I'm aware of, a muscle relaxer doesn't buil up your body just increases stamina and reduces recovery time

Epogen, on the other hand, would be cause for justified concern for performance enhancement in MX.

Nah. Lets break this down. 1.Too Risky. This is IV normally. IV use is pretty gnar..
You can go Sub Q with EPO, but there is no real immediate help.
The fatter you are, the slower the effect.
2. You're gonna have some "Trainer" shoot you? IV??? That's next level shit. Even at a hospital, most people getting an IV of a simple bag or two by a real doctor is freaky.

Big difference betweenIV and IM and Sub Q shots where there is minimal health risk.

This is Not an true endurance sport like distance running or TDF. If you cant last 35 minutes..come on. This isnt 3.5 hours balls to the wall or 8 hours.

There are far better compounds that would give more endurance for a short time (1 Hr or less) that are 10,000 times safer that wouldn't put a guy in any real medical risk with something as risky as EPO.

IMO, You'd have to be really desperate to go down that road as a MXer. It's just not the right sport or the right drug when there are far safer choices for what a racer does.

Not saying it wouldn't work or help, but it's like overkill for this sport.

Its like athletes using insulin. Works as long as you remember to eat and not go to sleep. And again, the risks are extremely high for the rewards.

It's hilarious watching the Australian moto "media" trying to ignore this and sweep it under the rug.

Are you kidding me? Well, I'm not a fan of anything with the WADA and think all the promoters should be ashamed of themselves over the Stewart incident, BUT . . . they need to use the same standard they used on him. In essence, enough of a sentence to ruin his career.
How is it that the other riders taking Adderall filled out their TUEs without any issues?

James and crew blew it and unfortunately got hit with WADAs wrath which sucked for James and his fans myself included.

I can't agree the sentence ruined his career. What James chose to do and not do during his suspension is on him not WADA.

Jake been telling me all year that his in heaps of pain and only rolling around the track to support his family. Got a good job offer that won't take any labor on his body so decided to retire. His not in a wheelchair so I'm happy for him it's over. That's all folks.

Why is it a Joke and they are sweeping it under the rug ffs. My money is still on a Phone Call.

I know of ONE positive test in WA For Weed and a Road Racing Rider but I think it is Fantastic that All the States don't have ANY Positives that have been Headlines. I can't understand why MA and all the Media aren't blowing this up to be the Crime of the Year gee I wonder why.

Come on all you Aussie Guys bring out the Number of Riders Tested in the last 10 years and how many positives, while Aussies are at it lets also bring out the figures for good ole USA and see just how many tests v positives please. Be nice to know exactly how many Full tests are conducted on a yearly basis in All Countries.

Like Lance and the Olympic Sports people you are Unlucky to get caught, I still reckon My ole Hero was Positive in Sydney but Australia had way too much to lose so hers and quite a few others apparently don't exist anymore. I think it is great that the NFL, Baseball, NBA, Naswar have so few Positives, maybe the $$$ Talk the Walk.

All the Best to Matt and Jake in what ever they choose to do and to Old Mate keep on keeping on and good luck with your Sharkies as they gunna need it.

A statement from Jake to say he IS NOT involved in any drug scandle would go a long way.

The results are slow due to the olympic athletes being tested before Brazil. This has caused a backlog
Interesting considering a certain mx2 rider trains with the moss brothers and is close friends

All joking aside of the present situation, It's good that he has something to transition into for his family life and I wish him the best of luck in the future.
