The Flexair Libra looks good but other than that, i'm not impressed.

I'm going Alpinestars in 2017.

I have to agree, the 2017 Fox lineup is largely unimpressive. The grey 180 year looks cool but Malcom wore that stuff 6 months ago.

I do like the matt/glossy helmet idea. Very unique and I don't know of anyone else doing that right now.

If you're talking about Malcom Stewart, the Geico team wears Alias gear, not fox. You're thinking of this set.

I was thinking the same thing over the weekend. Not a fan of the direction Fox is going with their designs. On the other hand, I've never liked Fly gear and their new stuff looks decent.

It seems like most gear company's these days all have the same first step in gear graphic/color designs.... Step 1: Drop Acid.

The video goes to show why KR is worth a huge contract, not only wicked fast but a personality that transcends his stardom. I think the gear looks dope and glad to see some of the "acid" inspired looks.

the orange/teal/black 360 stuff looks sick imo. if they had white red and black i would buy it in a heartbeat.

It's funny how the different brands end up looking like the other brands eventually. Some of the Fox stuff looks like a bit of TLD, some of Fly's stuff looks like One Industry...or even FOX at times. None of the gear I have seen really stands out as extraordinary to me. Not a fan of the blocky text for FOX and FLY. Looks childish.

Not even sure if this is 17 gear or not...

But this stuff looks good....

Cool of Kenny to do that video but I also think most of the new Fox gear looks terrible. A couple of the 180 designs looked good.

Some cool stuff in there. Not blown away unfortunately, but everyone has different taste. I love the boots for sure, I really want that black and flo set that came out this weekend!

I don't know what you guys are talking about, both of those kits look great! Good colors, clean design without being boring (like Thor's '17 line).

At this point it looks like I'll be on Fox again next year.

I'm with you TriRacer. The only downside is that Fox 360 and flex air lines are so damn expensive.

Exactly my point. It looks very similar to stuff thats 6 months old. Thor looks decent for 2017 and of course Ride365 will be out soon.

In the boot department, I think fox and A-Stars are competing for whose soles wear out faster.

Actually Fox won, as they don't offer re-sole services...

Yeah I was reading the dirt rider boot write up they did the other day and was shocked that you can't resole any of the fox boots.

I agree. KR is totally relatable. His personality is why he is worth every penny.

Last I heard, Fox has a lifetime warranty on their soles.

Nope $40 to resole and you have to make sure you send them in before the sole is too far gone.

Still not a bad deal for resole. I commend Fox on that.

Fox gear is by far the most uncomfortable gear. Some of the best and trendiest designs, but terrible to wear from the bulky air flow nonsense on the pants to the race stance that makes your pants feel like they're always falling down. I desperately wanted to try the flex air stuff, bought a set, it was like ill fitting spandex. They really need to address their fit for the average guy, biggest complaint, and no I'm not out of shape, etc. Just don't like gear feeling like normal clothes. I love my Alias stuff, its tough and durable, cheap on sale and simple and clean. Just ordered some fasthouse to try, see how that goes.

Weird, because most people find Alias gear cheap and compromising, I know i certainly did.

I bought Fasthouse and I will not look back, unbelievable comfort with TLD pants; can't be beat.

My Fox 360 gear is 100% better than my Alias...as it should be because it was double the cost.

The cheetah print design is growing on me.

Fox gear is very restrictive compared to Alias, over complicated design/features to simple/cheap design. No doubt the Fox gear is well featured, but between the giant knee/thigh vents, plastic crap and the weird riding stance fit they are far from comfortable, the flexair stuff too is VERY FORM fitting, I'm an in shape dude and still found it a bit too much for me. Fox stuff is made in China like many brands for those that want to argue quality. Your mostly paying for features and name. Not sure what you guys have been doing in your Alias gear, mine and all my buddies easily hold up a season or two of good riding. I will say that fox nails the cool patterns and colors every year and continues to innovate.

The Fox gear isn't really my thing ( actually like the grey set though )....but that track they are at , Mtn view MX....oh yeah! Been riding and racing there for 25yrs. I'll be there again all day on Saturday for Limited practice. The Hewitt's ( the owner's ) are awesome people too. Feels like a family reunion every time I ride there.
