Hey y'all, looking for some experienced engine guys to give me an idea of what the heck is going on here. Truck is an 07 escalade ext with the 6.2L l92 that runs and stays perfectly at temp while engine is on. Coolant is filled to the cold fill line appropriately and using GM dexcool as is required by the...

Rexblaster Started a new thread Newer Ram 1500 Problems?

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a newer (2015) ram 1500 and my father seems to believe that all dodge products are pieces of junk. I've never really heard of any major issues from them but we've been with gm our whole lives and he is hesitant to switch up- anyone here have any reccomendations of which way to go?

Rexblaster Started a new thread 2007 crf250r chain snap damage assessment

Well the other day i was out riding and i came down off of a table hard on the throttle and low and behold, the chain snapped and got locked up between the sprocket and the case. Then i noticed that i was dripping oil, and i thought well crap there goes my left side case. There does appear...

Ah, I see what you mean. Thanks paw paw! And could the extra wear be due to improper maintenance? I will be the first to admit that while I keep up with my engine maintenance I may not have done my research with what I needed to do with this chain. I heard that they were more durable, but I...

Ah okay yeah that's what I figured. The chain guide seems to be okay, I'm just stumped on what made the master link come apart after a year of riding. I'm assuming operator error? Is there anything specific I need to do to take care of an oring chain? I dont use chain lube and hit it with wd40 after...
The lower bolt hole for a case saver was broken off when we got the bike, so we didn't think the case saver would stay in place and didn't want it moving around a bunch with the chain right there. What do you mean by chain guide?
Sorry, the front sprocket being crooked was from us trying to get the chain out, we took it out and then hastily put it back in. But you're right, it does seem like it was a link that fell off. What could that mean?
Shouldve said this before but i forgot: right before it snapped i was trying to shift mid air (clutch in, shift, clutch out) but i was still on the throttle. It didnt want to shift, so i let go and tried again right as i landed and it shifted. Then, when i got on the throttle a bit more it...

I know this is an old thread but I'm just doing this to help out others in the future First, make sure that your valves are in spec for sure. When I bought mine it was incredibly difficult to start, but the valves were in spec. So, we had the carb completely rebuilt and boy what a world of difference...

Has anyone thought that maybe.... just maybe... he doesn't expect a factory ride? Maybe he wants to live his life and just ride and not race?? Who the hell knows. Not you or i. The dude doesn't owe us or his sponsors anything he's not legally obligated to.

Wow, that sure does seem like a long list of issues lol. I think that the newest generation started in 2014 so hopefully they're better? Not sure, but I'll for sure keep this in mind. Thanks!

I don't see a problem with bogle flipping him off? MM obviously took him down and he's not hurting anyone with just a finger lol.....

It's just the weight of announcing when you know that a ton of people are listening. Like last year when emig said that the shifter was on the right side of the bike or whatever... I don't think he actually thought that lol. Not saying I don't want it to be better, just saying that they do a hell of...
