Ever since the A1 incident with Dungey it seems like James has had the gnarliest bad luck if you can even call it that....he looks nothing like the James Stewart of past....its so strange to see a rider that is more talented than Ive ever seen on a bike make a mistake like he did, even RV's "Larry Loop-out" incident looked more professional than James' and Im literally beside myself when it comes to the things im seeing out of him this year in SX. I have taken into account the concussion as a factor but I dont think Ive ever witnessed a ride fall from grace so sharply like this year has gone for the good ol' #7 and Im a fan that continues to stand by the dude every weekend he lines up, despite taking colossal criticism from my buddies I keep holding on to the fact that James should still have no problem challenging for wins yet his performances this year at Monster Cup, Lille (Bercy), and the 2016 SX season has been utterly disappointing to say the least as a fan.....I REALLY hope he can make one last legacy run at a title indoors or outdoors because for a rider like James with the ability he has on a bike is a shame to see him fall off, in all reality I dont think we will ever witness a rider of James caliber & natural talent ever again.....some are close but watching James ride when hes on point is something really special and Im glad I was around to witness his career.
The last part of my post isnt a farewell message although it sounds like it I just want to see him turn it around this year and carry it through what is supposed to be his final year, next year 2017, it would be cool if Suzuki did finally drop a new bike too but that sounds doubtful from what Ive read on here.

I really don't have high expectations for James Stewart to race in Toronto this weekend. It would be cool to see him race nonetheless.

In my opinion, I think he should stop racing Supercross to rest his body, get healthy, do some fitness training, do outdoor testing to get ready for the Nationals. But that's just one man's opinion.

Stewart is more marketable than anyone out there even as just a top ten guy. The problem with James is that he does not know how to be a top ten guy. He has always been dominant to a point and he doesn't know anything else. Ego probably has a good bit to do with it but if he could just roll on like Kdub did he could still make a killing in this sport.

Come back with the 259 and have some fun with it. Ride your own race and f' everyone else.

I really thought he might have broken his hip. Glad it's not so serious. He's a tough bastard and will be back.

JT called it last week. James looks like a fast guy who has been hurt and lost the edge. His mind is cashing checks his body can not keep. The answer is simple simple simple. Seat time and lots of it.

At what point do the odds of misfortune drop based on the frequncy of them in his career?

I will say, Bubba sure has had an impressive highlight reel over the years. I don't think any other rider can even come close.

Kinda reminds me of an aging Bob Hannah, right??

SX/MX without JS7 is very, very tough to imagine- Hope is back soon, but not pre-maturely

I don't find it that difficult to imagine. He was out all season last year serving a sixteen month suspension. The racing went on, and some of it was good. Watching Tomac prior to his injury was nothing short of amazing.

Is Stewart incredible when he's on? Absolutely. Unfortunately, we've already seen the best of Stewart. When he finally decides to retire, the sport will continue on.

I can't understand why people wants him to rest up, heal up and comeback. He came into the first race of the season out of shape. He doesn't have the desire to put in the effort to win anymore. He's gonna keep crashing and getting hurt. Go out with some dignity, Man.

I can't understand why people are so hard on him. Look at what he has given the sport. There are a lot of miles on that body. He may not be what he once was, but he is still a great rider, who is still capable of amazing things on a bike. There is a multiple lifetimes of hard crashes in that video and he is still going for it!

Cool video, thanks for posting.

Stewarts had some epic rides for sure. I would've loved to see him line up on his 125cc in the then 250cc class. To bad the powers that be won't let us fans see the racing as we'd truly like to see it.

He could have done that! In the MXDN. Remember when he said that Kawasaki wouldn't let him go? Good times.

I doubt most younger fans would agree with you. Magoo was awesome, but if you weren't alive during that time, it doesn't mean much
