For a lapper, that's an aggressive corner position.
Notice the motion blur on the leaders and lack of motion blur on Stew? They're going fast and he is not. *Although the next pic I saw had Marvin mid corner no motion blur. Who f'in knows.
Sure Musquin crashed but he shouldn't have had to "race" Stewart like that,a whole main event,decided by a lapper,he was jumping into that section through the middle every lap except that one where he had to launch in on the right

"So last lap, I got close to James Stewart. He was a lap down. On the straightaway by the mechanics’ area, he actually looked back, so he saw me. I revved my bike to tell him, “I’m here, please let me by. Let me do my last lap clean.” I was behind him in the whoops. Obviously he was in the main line, and he turned really tight inside to let me by, and I was missing a little bit of speed going to the triple and I still went for it. I cased the triple, so I slowed down a lot, and then I heard him coming because he was still riding and doing his race behind me. I kind of got scared to get landed on by him. I changed lines and I got so out of control because I got scared. I was scared of getting landed on by him. Feet off the pegs, hit my chest going through the dragon back with no feet on the pegs. I was like, “There we go, I’m down. I’m crashing.” I saved it, went off the track, and I knew Chad [Reed] was behind but not that close, so let’s get safe back on the track and get second."
So...because Marvin "kind of got scared to get landed on by him", and changed lines, causing him to get out of control...it's Stewarts fault? Sounds like that if Marvin had stayed on his line, everything would have been fine...but he freaked out and got into a huge tank slapper. Stews fault? How?
I know this requires some deep digging to continue to slam Stewart, especially when Marvin isn't blaming him...but I'll wait for you to regroup.

Had Marvin held his line, and ridden smart he would have gone through that section and the following corner safely. Dungey was giving him plenty of room, and wouldn't have pushed him. He knew that. As it was...he freaked out and altered his line, causing him to get out of control. Marvin made the mistake. He said it himself! End of story.

The top shot is from a previous lap, and you can see that Marvin is using a line inside of the one that he's using in the lower photo. That corner was getting worn badly throughout the day, and was getting rebuilt nearly every chance they had.
Marvin definitely got pushed off of his preferred line, and check his front tire in the lower photo. It looks like he was right on the edge of losing the front end out of the rut.
