it's not reputation. It's a fact. RD has been involved in much much less controversy than James. The biggest controversy RD has been a part of is his alleged overly clean riding.

Dunge didn't mean to do it. We all know that. However, basically putting the blame on Stew on the podium saying "he cut down too hard" was about lame as shit. Dunge was out of control and plowed into him. Period.

That is a really terrible argument because, amongst other things, the scenario you just proposed didn't actually happen. What you described transcends the normal, so it just doesn't apply.

Counter-exaple: If the Pope started snatching old ladies purses on the Sabbath, but he's got a good rep as an OK dude, would we all say "oh, well, it was just that one time?"

Wait, huh, that doesn't make any sense at all! ..... exactly

Dunge and Stew were in the air at nearly the same time. Dunge assumed Stew was gonna round the berm at the top. That was the only error. And it was not malicious at all. He miscalculated period. He was NOT GOING BACKWARDS on the track. He would have had to be turning right back toward the apex. He was doing what every pro racer has done at some time in his life on the track. So stop getting ya'lls fur up like a bunch of drunk Euros at a soccar game. It was 100% a racing incident . But yes Dunge should, and does feel bad. . And if anyone should understand that is James.

There was something about the width of that corner that made guys think they could cut across it, or go down the centre with no consequences.

Dungey took that same line earlier in the night and go the raw end of the stick.

This is the worst move in the history of SX, you could clearly see Dungey wanted to win the championship in that one turn! Whistling

Don't really like Dungey's explanation of it. Stewart cut down to sharp and Ryan couldn't avoid it? Yea JS cut down but it looked like Dungey...

And going to fast to stop
Dungey tried to stop
Stewart cut down at a sharper anger that normal and they came together , no fault
But def cant blame dungey on that
Your fucking nuts. I was sitting right there and seen it. RD was heading for the middle of stews bike. Had Stew not been there he would of been the one knocked out.

Only person to blame in that incident is Reed.

Not even close to the same situation as the incident with Dungey.

Nice try though.

Racing incident. Shit happens fast in the opening laps. Totally bummed for Stew. Gotta feel for the guy. Personally I'm a big JS fan. But I have a hard time watching him auger into the dirt year after year without thinking about the impact that's gotta have on you. Maybe James will call it for good here soon. How many nasty hits to the ground can one dude take in his career before there's issues later down the line? I hope he's ok and not the case but that crash looked like another possible concussion.

Dungey messed up, not sure why that's so hard for some people to see. Stew took exactly the same line the previous lap, dunge was behind him that lap too so I'm not sure why he would not expect it again. Racing incident no doubt, but if we have to allocate slices of the 'blame pie', dunge is taking most slices

It was a friggin racing incident and was no ones fault
I love J7 but I'm not a nut hugger! I love racing periods but had this been Friese, Allessi, or Bowers T-boning Dungey, this place would be going nuts!

I think it's vitals fault. Make threads every week how dungey rides too clean and isn't aggressive for years straight. He tries to bump up the aggression and makes a mistake and he's too aggressive and is a bonehead. If he took out an unknown privateer it would be 100% the privateers fault. Really racing incident happens all the time.

Bummed he's is out. But not surprised. He cut down on Anderson completely oblivious that it was early in the race and there is probably other racers behind. Its happened many many times.
You actually blame Stewart for that?

I'm glad off season is over, but with the racing comes the unbelievably delusional biased guys.
Actually. Yes.

Ask Partridge or Preston about stews lack of racing presence. Its actually almost identical to the Reed incident at Atlanta a couple of years ago.
