So I bought a good used stock pipe from my 2003 CR250 project. Planned on bead blasting and making a works looking pipe....... well this came in the mail today and DEFINETLY is not a 03.

What year is this thing? I'm thinking is has to be 80's.

Oh boy, negative feedback coming. At least give the seller a chance to make it right. As in covering shipping both ways.

It may turn into a 100 dollar wall hanger. Do it up factory style and just look at it lol

PSI Pipes have PSI Stamped into it.
Every single one I've had since 1982 did.

I dont think its a Dynoport either since the quality is 100 times better. That thing looks home made.

No need to leave the guy a neg feedback if he can make it right with you. Could be a simple mistake.

WTF did you not see the Ebay listing pics? Many times people have stuff lying around the garage have think it is for one thing and its for another bike they had or they just don't know.

I've learnt buying parts on eBay can be tricky. I bought a LHS crank case for my CR125, supposedly in perfect condition. I open the box and the part separating the crank and transmission had been broken at some point and JB Welded back in place. If it was welded I wouldn't have cared but JB Weld? God dam. Anyway, contact the seller and get stupid replies. Contact eBay and I have to pay for return postage which is $80 or something. It cost me $120 in the first place! So this guy got away with selling a defective item. I know people say eBay protects the buyers but in this case the seller got away by doing the wrong thing.

Does look like a Krause Kannon pipe....tho it is clearly not the Kick Axe color model...could be a Coffman's.

Not a Dyno Port.

Paypal scam works the same way. Buyer can purchase an item, actually receive it, or claim to have never received it, then complain to paypal that the item was never received or not as advertised, and paypal gives the money back to the buyer. Don't even have to return the merchandise. So anyone who is selling, and the buyer says they are using paypal, be very leery of going through with the sale.

Interesting perspective.

I've bought countless things off Ebay over the years and haver never had a problem. My neighbor bought a F350 from a private seller out of state and got a smokin deal on a great truck.

I have received my money back from ebay/paypal both as a buyer and seller. If you document the transaction and follow the steps and are a honest member for the most part you are protected, they found in my favor both times and this is out of well over two thousand transactions on Ebay. Most times you can work out the problem with the buyer/seller of the item in question. There are some risks and shipping is one of them but I have had 99% good experiences on Ebay and paying with paypal.

Kind of random question but was that by chance for an 03 CR125?

This is why anything you sell on eBay should be sent as recorded delivery - track the item then the buyer can't pull a fast one on you!

If that's what he's claiming, someone switched his "8" and "0" keys on his keyboard

Sounds like a great plan. Let's just go back to the days where we had to send money order's, personal checks, or use COD.

Stop acting like the .01%?? of un-truthful people using Paypal make it a bad process

I sold a lady my wifes IPhone 5 right before the 6 came out and she put up great feedback, sent me a person email on how great the phone was and everything. 3 months later I receive a call from paypal asking when I would be correcting my account. I had taken the $325 out so the account was now a negative $365 (the $325 plus some return fees or some shit.) I was like what the fuck are you talking about. The next day I found out. I received a box in the mail, it was my wifes phone. The lady and sent it back in perfect shape.

Come to find out she never tried to go thru the ebay procedure of returning as it had been to long anyway. So she disputes it with her credit card company. Ebay and paypal said they were on my side and we had all the emails, great feedback and all. Guess who the credit card ruled in favor of? Yeah, the lady. So paypal returned that money expecting me to pay the bill. I think not. I still have the same fucking $365 account, I had like 1600 feedbacks on ebay for over 14 years and perfect business with paypal. Shit still makes me mad. Fuck 'em
