I just sold an 89 RM 125 and there are three or four different cylinders for that year. I believe it’s K, L and M and they’re all different. Pretty sure the power valves are the same but one has a fiber head gasket and the other two have packings. not

The bracket on mine was broken also, just had it welded. That's where I got that done, I had about five different variations of a better bracket I would have used instead. The tank was yellowed pretty bad due to fuel sitting in it and soaking through. ... more »

I restored this bike last year, also a 1986 YZ 125. If you don't have a filter cage, good luck finding one. I had to make one out of aluminum and it was a pain in the ass. Love the motor but the suspension I needed some real love. I stripped the stock

Right on all. I was at that broom Tioga race when, call the Yamaha guys were on the 91 s. Doug Dubach call holeshot the heat race, there was pretty badass seeing that new rear fender. Lots of new 125 kids in 1990, awesome year.

It should. The frame change happened in 90 and 92 and 93 were almost identical. Blue fork tubes and all.
